This photo was taken of me and my two boys in 1997 with my Mom and aunts when they took a one and only road trip together from Texas and California to come visit me and my family in Washington! That meant more to me than you can imagine!

On this layout, I started out with plain white cardstock and inked in the entire page using the TH felt tool and Tsukineko inks. The reembroidered lace on the left was from remnants of lace I used on my wedding dress and veil and I colored them to match my page. I added Queen and Co. Goosebumps and Rhinestones to them for a little bling. I made the flowers surrounding the photo with the exception of the little parchment roses. I started with white paper on this and colored it in with stamping inks. The wood flourish is from Kaisercraft and I dabbed the pearl Adirondack metallics, then used my pink and green stamps on the edge, finishing off with a little glitter of the same color. The rhinestone flourishes are Zva. The rhinestone button on the flourish and the pink flower were from my mom's button collection which is all the more special to me. Butterflies I printed off from my Print Shop program and cut out. They are pictures of the real thing! Just love butterflies!

Thank you for stopping by!
