This is the first two pages of a group of like LO's about my aunt and uncle's going away party. I got the idea of using branches with hanging hearts from a paper that I purchased from this very store. I didn't actually use it here oddly enough though. It was by My Little Shoebox and was entitled Up in the Trees. It made me think of family trees and love. Each of the hearts is supposed to represent a different family member. I used the same color heart for each individual person. My uncle got maroon, my male cousin got navy, my aunt got yellow etc. throughout all the LO's. The little girl (whose face was blurred out) also got a smaller heart for obvious reasons. The plaid patterned paper I did use was something I picked up in grab bag from a LSS. I wasn't sure I would ever use it because it was so bright. I punched the leaves and the hearts and drew the lines with the help of a ruler and a marker. I hand cut the branches.
