Hi all! It's reveal day at SOE and, would you believe, my debut as a DT???? I am still in shock lololo! I got my inspiration for this lo from the talented Nadia Cannizzo's OUAS.
The photo is me at age 15 when I started working as a DJ for Armed Forces Radio in Rota, Spain, 1968. The photo is taken through a window so is very distorted, but extremely special to me. Do you remember the movie "Good Morning Viet Nam" with Robin Williams? Well, I was working at the same time as the movie is based under the same restrictions. The name of my show was called the "Groove-In" with my theme song from the Young Rascals hit of the same name. Back in that day there were lots of love-ins, sit-ins, etc., so it was really appropriate.
Everything I used to create this lo has come from either this month's or previous month's kits, with the exception of the sweet pink shabby rose on the right side, which was a B-day present from my sweet friend Renea Harrison. I also used one of her sweet butterflies that comes with the kit.
I'll be posting info on my blog, which is slowly but surely coming along. Thank you my friends for all your kindnesses, you are so special to me! Big Alaska Bear Hugs!! xoxoxo
