He's not just my husband, he's my biggest cheerleader, my strongest ally, my listening ear, my heavy lifter, and my rational buzz kill.
I tell people that he is the string to my kite. Kites have to have a tether to the ground to add gravity and drag to the wind or they can't fly. It's no fun being the string - all you have to do is watch a small child get pulled along by a kite in a strong wind to get an idea of some of the nonsense this man puts up with. And yet, he stays with me, smiling at my hare brained ideas and giving me just enough reality input to help guide me to a more rational thought process.
He's the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I absolutely adore him. He's my BFF for real and true.
