Photos of a trip to St. Augustine. I used papers from the Carta Bella Traditions collection. The background gold card stock from my stash. Punched edge was done with a very old EK Success punch. Title work was all cut with the Silhouette Cameo. Small photo of me is popped up with craft foam. I added some black lines on the gold background....and now as I look at it, the lines make the layout look wonky! All title letters were covered with a layer of glossy accents. I used gold Nuvo drops on the punched edge at the bottom. Journaling is tucked behind the large photo at the top and reads:
My job with Saltmarsh required me to travel almost every week. Sometimes I was in a town with only one stop light and other times I would get to go somewhere fun, like this trip to St. Augustine, Florida. I was auditing a bank that week, and Butch decided to go on this trip with me. That meant that we could take the time to explore in the evenings after I finished with work. This trip we wanted to visit the fountain of youth, unfortunately, all we got to do was take photos at the gate…so I guess I'll never know if the fountain of youth really works!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I always appreciate your nice comments!
