This is a calendar I'm making for my friends featuring pictures of their son, Sam, from the last 4 years. In this pic, Sam is wearing a 'helmet' which is a plastic tub as he rides his motorbike :)
The lo was inspired by Scrappinsteph's 'Wheels' lo ( http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=159257&m=view&id=2137581&page=1&r=5 ) There is a lo in the October issue of Scrapbook Inspirations magazine which has lots of cut out cog wheels and I wanted to try it with this 'biker' picture. I made the cogs using my Craft Robo, mounted them on different colours of card and then used various thicknesses of foam pads to give it dimension. I wanted some more red in the lo, so after I cut out the black and white frame I coloured the white sections red. The alphas were a RAK from Scrap Police (thanks Kathy!) but I didn't have a letter A so I used a 4 on its side.
The quote says: ' May boys inspire us everyday, speaking joy in their special way.' I found it in the resources section here at sb.com and I'll be putting each verse on each page (Author: Not known, submitted by ScrappyDoo2U) TFL!
