I think this is the fuzzy bees that keep visiting the butterfly bushes and scaring the beejeebers outta me! Anyone know if they sting or do they just look fierce??? Nice of him to sit and pose for a pic....mine just keep movin'

Aww - look how fuzzy he is :) Very cute! What time of day was this taken? Around here, bees and such don't fly much in the morning - maybe because it's chillier then?

Bumble Bee

6-2-09....This bee was on the ground, just sitting there. I think it is some sort of digger/ground bee but I can't find one like it in my reference book so I'm not sure. I took a lot of shots but I liked this one best. [2376]
