This is so pretty and girlie! I love how you put the paisleys around the page. Very whimsical. Great alteration of the photo too. The color scheme is fab!! Love it :-)
i am sorry that the lo is a little fuzzy, i am trying to learn! i used a bazzill cardstock, and a ck font for t he title. i used one of the small brads on the "i" in beautiful, the other on the wood star that i painted pink and grey. the paisleys on the piece of bandana was cut out and glued to the cardstock, and the flower was cut out and backed with pink and white cs, with part of the silver ribbon as loops on the flower. the trim of the bandana was used as a frame around the pic, which was mounted on white sc, and then pink paper. the blue ruler ribbon was chalked and mounted on a strip of pink p. The 2 word beads did not fit my lo, so i covered them with paper and added spring 2005, hung them from the star with "Cara Marie" on it, with the white emb. floss, and hung the 2 sequins on top of each other in the midde. i added a small flower to the black one. the envelope was covered in the rest of the bandana, and silver ribbon. the 2 large brads were attached to the envelope. the card was covered and added to, with another piece of cs, to fit my journaling, that is in the pocket. i used all of the little bitty pieces of leftover flowers on the journaling block, and on the corners of the phot mat. the journaling reads: How do you measure beauty? The world looks at beauty strictly on the outside. Granted, it is great to look pretty, or handsome, but to see the real beauty in someone, you must look deeper, into their heart and soul. Because you are a young woman with special needs, some people will not even take the time to see your real beauty. If they did, they would see what so many of the people you have met, and what your family and friends, see in you....because you touch them with your loving heart, your compassion, and your sweet spirit. So, to all who really know you....You ARE beautiful, inside and out....beautiful beyond words.
