My daughter came home from Iraq this past December, and once she was debriefed in Alaska, she was given three days of leave to come home for Christmas.
This was a layout that I did for the Round Robin November Challenge, so I needed to finish it, but since Amy wasn't home from Iraq until two days before Christmas, it's been sitting in my gallery with no photo. That's fixed now, so I've reloaded it.
I used a couple of Father Christmas papers by Bo Bunny and my Sizzix Holly flourish. I bumped up the bling on the die cut paper by adding some red stickles to the berries.
The little mistletoe berries are just pearl beads put on with my hot glue gun. The reindeer is a Christmas ornament that I picked up in the Christmas sale section of Hobby Lobby along with the enameled holly leaves. The flower is from a $1 pot that I found at Dollar General, and the ribbon came from my local scrapbook store. The title stickers are from an old Swirlydoos kit.
