Journaling:I have always loved to be creative. Even as a little girl, I would look over and over at the Sears catalog decorating my room or my future child's room. I was so shy as a child, and my mother never nurtured my talents. Only in school was I able to be artistic. I took art classes and sang in the choir. Still I did not follow my dream until several years later when my husband's job took us to London, England. Since I did not need to work, I was able to fulfill my dream and go to design school. After coming home, I was able to set up my own business which I loved doing until my son came along. It was just too difficult to haul a baby around to furniture stores, When he was three, I thought – ok, I'll finally do that scrapbook that I had been saving items for since he was born. Oh yeah, big mistake, well financially that is! I have now found another way of expressing my creativity, and it has only led to other things as well. I have no idea where I would be if I had started earlier in life with my love of all things artsy, but it doesn't matter. I am still happy.
