A healthy self-image is also a thanks to God. He created us, and when we love ourselves,we are telling Him that He did a good job."
The challenge was to scrap a page about something that I am
thankful for. I thought for a minute and said to myself, “Well,
I definitely know of something I am NOT thankfful for ...
this horrible haircut.” However, I realized it did not crush my spirit and send me into hiding. I actually laughed. I am so very thankful that I have reached a time in my life where
appearance is not who I am.
I know my age has a lot to do with it, but truthfully, it is more about I like who I am and if you don't, I'm sorry, but
it is not the end of my world!
So yes, I am very thankful - not for the new haircut, but for the fact, that to me, it is just a haircut!
