Today I'm sharing a tag I created for Jo in this years birthday card club. She wanted navy and gold colors, so I pared them with this lovely damask paper to create this vintage styled tag.
I made the base tags using the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge. To embellish I sprayed the Prima flower with gold foil color blooms and added some gold stickles to its petals for extra dimension, then finished off the flower center with a touch of diamond stickles for a bit of sparkle. I covered the dress form with Websters Vintage Netting and finished it off with two different cream and gold trims, then tucked some gold ruffled netting along the bottom of the dress, behind the center flower and highlighted the waistline with a netting bow, cream and gold trim and a mini roses with a few rose buds to complete the the dress form. I layered everything together and popped up the fussy cut damask graphic, dress form, sentiment tags, and thread spools for added dimension. I finished off the bottom with more trim and added a handmade a stickpin.
I received the pretty vintage cream and gold side lace as a gift from Martica and added it for the perfect finishing touch! I enjoyed making this pretty tag for Jo and hope that she enjoyed receiving it as well. Thank you for dropping by and have a beautiful day! Hugs ~ Dawna
