  • I love Glue Dots, but not in the dispenser... (02 February 2010)

I was excited to try this product because I have really enjoyed all of the other Glue Dots products I've used. I will not buy this one again though. It is a good idea in theory, but the dispenser is hard to use. It's hard to tell where to place it and roll to put your Glue Dot in the right part of your paper, photo, etc. I wasted a lot of Dots trying to do this, as one would end up on the page, the other half off the page. If you want to use a dispenser adhesive, I would go with another product.

If you think you don't need any tools to go with your Cricut... (31 December 2009)

Make an exception for this one! I got my Cricut after Thanksgiving this year and the mats were brand new and very sticky. I couldn't get the die cuts off without the paper curling up on what I had just cut, and especially on the leftover paper. I went out the next day and saw the whole tool kit for the Cricut, but didn't think I needed all of those items. I ended up getting this spatula for around $5, and it's really the only thing I need for getting paper and die cuts off the mats. Now that the mat has been used a few times, it's easier to get the paper off, but this is still an invaluable tool. Worth every penny!

This is the cutest thing! (14 October 2009)

I love my Mama Scrap Can. It's great for the floor and not too terribly large that it can't fit on the table as well. I have the Baby Scrap Can also, and it's great too. The only thing I don't like is that the strap/band that keeps it closed when not in use looks like it might rip or come detatched from the can. Reinforcing it might be a good idea. Other than that, no complaints! It's a great buy.

  • My favorite roller adhesive (24 July 2009)

The Kokuyo brand is BY FAR the best roller adhesive that I've found to work with. I like the repositionable one better only because the permanent adhesive is REALLY permanent, like right away. It makes it hard to fix something that's a little off because it sticks immediately. With the repositionable one you have a little wiggle room to lift items back up and, well, reposition! :)

  • Good for little things! (24 July 2009)

My aunt bought me a whole bunch of the Glue Dots products and I really like all of them. These are particularly good for "little" things - chipboard letters, die cut letters, edges of ribbon that won't stay down, etc. They are super sticky though, so be sure about where you are putting them because once they're stuck, they're stuck. Great product as always with Glue Dots.

First paper trimmer I've ever had and I love it! (20 July 2009)

I just bought this item (mine is a little different with a circle design on the front of the product) this past weekend and it is great. It cuts through paper, cardstock and photos very easily. I can trim down a piece of paper in seconds and I know that it's straight, rather than before when I used my scissors. I love the rubber feet that keep it in place on the tabletop, it does not slip around. I don't know how I got along without it before now!

My only complaint is that the blade seems to dull pretty quickly. I just bought it and it already seems that it's cutting a little ragged and needs to be replaced. Even with that being said, it's still a great product. I will be able to use it for many years to come.
