My piano recital was this weekend. It was a wonderful success. 130 people and 24 students playing! I am happy and tired. But, now i"ll have time to be on this site some more. I'll be posting pictures of the recital as soon as I can.

Morning! It's a great day here in PA. We still have a few leaves on the trees. I'm feeling inspired musically today. I just love the fresh cool weather of fall. Have a joy filled day.

just dropping by to say hi. I'm working on the music for my song but I can't get it to sound the same as what I'm playing.

Looks like you've been gone for awhile. Hope you are doing well. Blessings, JO

Hi, Thanks for your comment on my song. I do have a music program on my computer but I don'tknow if I can copy the music into sbc. Maybe I'll print the notes and take a picture of the manuscript. I'm not quiet done that part yet. Do you write music? Maybe you could give me some advice.

Yes, I have the graphic novels. bought them for my teenager. He now is into reading Dekker's "lost books" set. I'm really thankful as he's even using them for school. He had to choose a book for Language ARts and he chose one of those. His teacher was very supportive.

Good job on the music incentives. It looks like it's just you and me on the thread. I'm getting very busy with more and more piano students 35 now. I need to hire another teacher to work for me and I am sending my two oldest off to school this week. Jon's in high school this year and Dan in 4th grade. All that to say, I think I'll not be posting on the music thread for awhile. You are welcome to do so and see if anyone else joins. But for now, let's be friends and talk back and forth okay?

How was your night listening to Adrea Bocelli? Did I spell that right?

Are you working on the music incentives? I'm almost done mine. I'm going to check in with the others to see. Go to the thread and let us know what you are up to. Smiles

So, we were actually in a local hardware store and asked one of the employees how to get rid of digger bees. He said, "I probably shouldn't tell you this but nothing works. The only way is to douse them with gasoline and light em." We were shocked! But he was right. I hope he didn't lose his job over that.

Thanks so much for your visit to my gallery and comment on my fishin' page! The edging technique you asked about is accomplished my tearing the edges and then inking them. Jackie
