me also asked about the swirls on my card...I'll admit I saw a verrry similar card in a mag, and more or less copied the swirl pattern from looking at the pic!I drew them freehand,then cut them out with little manicure scissors and inked the edges with gold ink.Inking edges is an easy technique that adds a lot of class to a project-play around with inking and tearing on some scraps til you feel comfortable with it! If I hadn't had a spare sheet,tearing that paper for the cat page would have been way scary!!BTW,your dog is adorable:)thanks again for your kind words...Lynne

hi Beryl-thanks so much for your gallery comments-I really appreciate them and am happy to try to describe how I did them...for the tearing on the kitty page, I drew light pencil lines roughly where I wanted them,then after I tore the strips,ripped little nicks along into the edge so i could lift pieces up and ran my nails back and forth to make them look raggedy-hope that helps!Then I rubbed a little ink along the edges. I had two sheets of the same paper and cut some leaves from the second sheet to layer on top.
