Fun photos from a holiday party
comment on this image.
SHCG: Love the basic grey patterned paper. They have the best Holiday paper! The party looks like such fun and I love that you captured things from the night to include here. The trees are perfect here. I think that I would like them mounted in white to make them pop off the page more. Or maybe use dimensionals to raise them from the page. I like how the pictures tumble from the top, but I have to agree with Brenda. I want the journaling tilted upward so that my eye leads back to the pictures. Just a flow preference on my part. I love the whimsy of this. Super!
SHCG: Those little trees are adorable. If you happen to have any A's in your title I would use similar trees for them. I'm also loving that PP and how the top flower kind of frames the corner your picture. I think I would like to see the journaling and the picture in the top right corner brought more toward the center. That would also free up more space for your title if you decide to put one on there.
SHCG: There trees!! I thought they were party hats!! Anyway i like how you've put them on the side of every picture, kind of links it all together. Maybe you could put one on the title when it comes along.
SHCG: Once again you've captured some fun moments. I love the look on your face as you karaoke. The trees are very cute, and I really like that bg pp--a modern take on the poinsettia. I'd like to see a strip underneath that pic with the title of the song you were singing. The journaling tilted upward, instead of downward, would help the flow of the page as it would keep our eyes directed toward the photos. Also, see where one of the poinsettia petals end at the dotted pp just under the top red tree, and where another ends just behind "holiday" in the journaling? I think it would be very cool to have those petals overlap onto the dotted pp. I'm also wondering how you could mimic that supercool Japanese fish scale look of the poinsettia pp somewhere else on your page, maybe as a mat for when you get around to your title and placed in the upper left of the page.
SHCG: Just LUV those little trees. Great layout just needs a title.
Great LO, love the use of the PP. Great job!
I really like the pp, and the cut out trees. Terrific lo!

Love the matting/framing! Great layout!
love those trees. looks like a lot of fun was going on!
SHCG: Oh I love the christmas trees. I would have nudge them towards the center of the layout so that the margin is equal around the border of the LO. I like the general direction of the photos, but I would have made the journaling horizontal just to make reading easier. Great job!

SHCG: I love the colors and those trees are adorable. I do like the suggestion of making the photos straight on it. I really want to see something in between the the photo and the journaling, just don't know what.
I like the rounded corners!
Fun photos & I love the paper and tree that's by the journaling
SHCG: I love the background paper you used! It is really festive and you cannot miss that this is a holiday party. I agree with Jessica's suggestion that bringing the top photo down so it touches the other one would be a good idea. I also think adding a title to this page would really make it stand out. A perfect spot might be in that upper left corner where the space is blank. My suggestion would be to use chipboard letters to add a little dimension to the page. I love those little holiday trees and it looks like the party was a lot of fun!
SHCG: that looks like so much fun! Love the four squares in the background, they look great. I think I would have kept all of the pictures straight. And bring that top right photo down a little so it overlaps with the other two as well. Or, if you like them tilted, still bring that top photo down so that it touches the other one.
Beautiful Paper and I just love the hats!
SHCG: Beautifully festive pp to go with these photos. I'm thinking that this one may have looked a little better with the photos straight instead of tilted. I would have brought the top left photo up a little more, overlapped the corners Just as you did here to the opposite corner of the page and then with the 'white space" this would have created above the journaling, i would have lined up the trees across the top (or bottom) of the journaling. Kwim? I think its fun as is though too, looks like you caught a bunch of different photos of why the event was fun!
Nice LO. Love the little trees.
Love the little trees - so cute!
Pretty pp's and great pic placement!
the little paper trees make me happy! Can I sing next time too? Fun
SHCG - Fun LO about what looks like a very fun time! I love the pp. OMG my family also does karaoke after holiday gatherings, too funny! The pp trees are friggin adorable. I also love your descriptive journaling & beautiful handwriting. Nice corner rounding & the angled placement makes this all very jaunty & festive. I would've maybe grouped the photos a little closer together so that there's less space in the middle of the page. Also, I am kind of wondering how the journaling block would be tilted the other way, for balance. Again, love the multi-pics. Fabulous LO as is!
This looks like a lot of fun.
love the trees. fun page!
