This is for the 2010 SHCG BWC #23 to simply scrap a Halloween lo. Journaling will go in the white spiderweb area, and written in black ink. I'm not sure if I should put a chain link to mirror the one on the left page or a set of brads, under the Popeye shirt pic and stretching left toward the Halloweenie pic. Critiques and suggestions only please for this work in progress. When making suggestions please consider its facing page in this two page spread. I'm mainly concerned with placement, color choices, and if visual triangles are evident. Thank you.
That ribcage is just cool. I like this layout and the chain idea is rockin'. I like the hot dog costume. It needs relish. I don't like relish, just think it would look cool.
SHCG: Cool two pager! I like your plan to distress the chain and think a bit on this page will help tie the two pages together. Really fun pics. Can't wait to read about them :)!
SHCG: great job. I love the creativity with the letters in the title. The chain is really cool and if you have more that you can place on this page to help tie them together that would help as the second page seems a bit disconnected, I agree with Denitza about moving the journaling block to the right side so the pics ont he two pages are together. I wasn't able to come up with an idea to help the pics pop a bit more, then I read D's suggestion of the white line frame, get creative with it; bones, skulls or pumpkins.
SHCG: This is super cool spread! I'll comment here on both pages. I love the pps that you used and the way you did the title! I think you can draw a thin white line on the pics-like a frame, so they stand out a bit more. I also have an idea-on the right page switch the places of the journaling and the pic, see how you like it like that. But for me the only missing thing is the journaling and you can put it away in the book! Great LO! Looks like you all had tons of fun!
SHCG: Fun! I think that adding some nkng or distressing to the chain wll work well, I also think that adding a chain link to the right page would help te the pages together really well. Other than that the page lookis great. Oh and just a comment...the top photo on the right page looks creepy, love it!
