This is my niece's last selfie, taken early December last year. She spent some time in the Black Forest in Germany and was so excited, because the whole area was under a deep covering of snow. Something we don't get much of any more, here in England. We seem to have swapped snow for rain and rain and more rain.
She sent this selfie the first weekend of her holiday, when she actually had to dig her car out of the snow drifts! Unfortunately the picture is not very clear and the falling snow blurred Diana's face somewhat but I love the angle of it and decided to do another MM page.
And I used up so many scraps! First, I found some rice paper which I used in the background of the three clusters. The printed flower images are from the Prima Marketing Georgia Blues Collection (Memory Lane) I have used for making cards. The hot air balloons are from a 6x6 Maja Design pad (Vintage Autumn Basics) and the 2 large blue flowers are the remaining pieces from a 49 and Market pack. And the background is a Ruby Rock It paper which is so old, it has already started to fade around the edges........And finally, I used up a bit more lace. Oh, I nearly forgot those cute mini b/w brads, I don't even remember who made these.
Have a fabulous weekend and Thank You for all your lovely comments and messages! Stay safe, Petra
