My cousin's birthday was April 17th. She's only 5 months younger than I, so we grew up together. In the past, we've given each other funny gifts and cards, but this year I wanted to give her something a bit more special. I've been in a beading frenzy lately and thought making her a necklace in neutral colors would be a nice gift, plus April's birthstone is diamond. I visited with her mother (my aunt) yesterday and was very surprised when she was able to join us for lunch. I was very happy to be able to give her this gift in person. She said she really like it....she wore it the rest of the day. :)
