The case seems well made in regards to materials. The seams appear well stiched, the zipper is not flimsy and the material is a tight weave. It is reinforced with thin cardboard, but that should not be an issue. The problem appears to be the way in which the dividing flap is attached. Instead of being in the middle of the spine it is attached to the front flap, thus making it impossible to put markers close to the seam. Even if you use pencils instead of markers you must leave them empty. I used this front section for my extra fine Sharpies and it is still to thick to easily close. The back section has ample room for larger markers to be used and you will still be able to close the case. The back section will hold 16 - 18 larger markers and still close. Front really best for pencils and pens. So, depending on what you plan on putting in this case it may be just fine. It is not what I needed, but I can make my own using this as a guide to not make the same errors in construction.
