I use 80lb cardstock and the smallest mat couldn't be used again no matter what I tried. I cleaned as directed and even tried pixie spray. I hope it gets upgraded. Sorry for the 1 star. Just an honest review.

The detail impression is beautiful on both sides of the paper.

Beautiful color of a bluish gray. Great for soft color or add more layers for a dramatic effect. Great for ink blending and combines beautifully with other oxide colors.

These stamped really well. I used Versafine black onyx ink and got perfect dark crisp image.

I was so excited to order these blending tools, however, when I opened the package, the first thing I noticed was that the foam itself is quite rough. So I started using them right away. Yes, it DOES NOT give you the harsh lines that the flat blending sponges give but it does give you splotchy areas. If you are going to go heavy on the ink then it's ok.
I tried it with stencils and it kept snagging on the stencil with intricate details because of the roughness of the foam. I wanted these domed sponges to work so bad. Please make them a little softer.
P.S. they wash off really well.
