For this stencil I sponged it in two shades of lavender with the larger holes being the darker lavender. It really looks nice on my card. Made a beautiful Happy Birthday card.

I used this tree on my card. One thing to keep in mind is you don't have to use the entire stencil. You can use one side of the tree for the effect of leaves on one side of your card or more sides. I enjoyed using that stencil on my card. You can do it in Spring colors for the leaves or even Fall colors. A beautiful stencil.

I made a card with the stencil and enjoyed the process and the result. For those who are thinking of buying that stencil, keep in mind that if you sponge it in pastel colors or soft colors, you can then mask the top half and sponge along the edge of the mask to get the look of the pattern reflecting off water. I've done that before and it is fantastic.

In the case of this stencil, the picture is more beautiful than the actual appearance on the page but well worth getting. I haven't tried it in black - did it in pastel colors so I hope to get an example as pretty as the picture given on the site.
