    Lovely (05 July 2022)

I've used with inks, sprays, and pastes, and it works well with all of them!
I love the 6x8" size that completely covers my card fronts.

Great way to get ALL the colors & save space (19 April 2022)

I thought having all of the Distress Oxides--which are not available in this small size--was enough. Then I attended Jenn Shurkus' class on Distress ink techiques, aaannnddd....I wanted all of the regular Distress ink colors, too. Jenn said the cubes were a good way to start acquiring them--and that's what I did. I don't see any reason to get the bigger size since I am hoping to downsize and keep the things I really want.

The ink pads are nice & juicy--and, when it's time, can be reinked. Glad to see Ranger is still supporting the mini inks in all of the colors, including these 4 newest ones.

    Just what I wanted! (13 April 2021)

Got the set for use with my Distress Inks. The daubers are mostly OK (some are uncomfortable inside, but not terrible). They fit perfectly in the storage box, and there is enough space above them (with the lid on) that they won't smudge the top with ink.
I used a 3/4" circle punch to punch colored paper for each compartment, so now I can see where each color is without even opening the case.

Really cute--make it your own! (23 March 2021)

I enjoy these Foundations Decor kits. The designs are lightly attached to the bases with tiny squares of double-stick foam tape--so you can get an idea of the final product. You will add one layer at a time--either painting or covering the wood with decorative paper.
Make it your own! FD tends to like double-layering the backing piece of each section, but I prefer just one layer of paper. I also made some changes--I removed "It's" and added a large heart (from the umbrella in the photo) to the top piece. I turned the umbrella handle so it would face the opposite direction--totally doable since you are painting or covering it! My rain boots both face in the same direction--and angled as if someone was walking. I didn't use some pieces, so I'm saving them for a future project.
You attach a (supplied) magnet to the back of each section and it fits beautifully into the FD shadow box. Then you can swap them out as you like.

This set is WONDERFUL! (23 March 2021)

The macaron is a 5-step (or shall we say 5 stamp) process. Start light with 1 and go slightly darker for 2, then darker yet for 3. Then a new or complementary color for 4 in a lighter tone, with 5 a little darker than 4.
I used a MISTI-style stamping platform to line everything up.
I had so much fun with these--the 5-step process is so worth it--the macarons are so lifelike!

Great pen to have! (27 February 2021)

Ink flows nicely in this marker pen, and writes a nice thin line. Great price, too. I decided to get it because it has acid-free, waterproof ink. A lot of papercrafting companies forget about that need--I'm glad to find these!

    A perfect pink shade! (27 February 2021)

This pink is just right--not too dark/heading toward fuschia, and not so pale as others in the Distress line. I really like it! So glad Scrapbook.com had it since it is so new.

Thickest I've seen, but expensive! (27 February 2021)

Got this because Jenn Shurkus recommended it for an online class she did on Distress ink techniques. I'd already cut & prepped Neenah 140 lb. paper.
This is 130 lb, so it should be thinner, but...no! It's thicker than the 140 lb. Neenah! Same nice bright white color, too.
I tried to use 2 sheets at a time in my paper cutter, but it's too thick.
My only complaint is that you only get 10 sheets, and the MSRP is $9.95, so it's a dollar a sheet.
Save it for your watercoloring/spraying on Distress inks projects, but definitely get some!

    Worth getting! (05 February 2021)

While my local scrapbook store sells Foundation Decor wood sets and blank pieces for the magnetized display, it did not have any of the spare magnets.
I could probably just cut my own as I have flexible magnet pieces, but I wanted the sturdiness of the ones that come with the sets. I was glad to find that Scrapbook.com sells them!

Pretty good! Lip is kind of odd, but it works. (05 February 2021)

Interesting-not quite what I expected, but works well
    Clean white color
One end says Scrapbook.com but other end is plain
    Stackable
Lid nests securely on top or bottom
Lid has an odd "lip" to it--would be good if using for some messy projects or (as I do) to safely contain items so they don't fall off the edge. You really could use it as a surface on which to add glitter, do watercoloring, etc. because of the lip.
That said, the lip means the top of the lid is not flat. I flipped the lid, but it does not fit securely on top if you do that--it would slip very easily.
It's not very long, so consider that when deciding if you want to get it.
Personally, I hope Scrapbook.com will offer it in more lengths (and widths--it's not quite wide enough for me), but I do like it and plan to buy more.
Do like I did and just buy one to make sure you like it. If you do, you can always buy more!

    Love it--works well! (05 February 2021)

While my local scrapbook store sells Foundation Decor wood sets, it did not have the paper files, so I was really glad to get them from Scrapbook.com (couldn't even get them from the company website--said sold out).
The package says it is washable--I haven't tried it, but I appreciate that.
It's quite thick and sturdy--works really well to remove overhanging paper and sand the edges. Glad I got it, and reasonably priced--I bought 2.

Works well but not very sturdy (05 February 2021)

While my local scrapbook store sells Foundation Decor wood sets, it did not have the paper files, so I was really glad to get them from Scrapbook.com (couldn't even get them from the company website--said sold out).
This paper file is pretty thin, so it's rather bendy when I wish it was firmer. that may be on purpose so it works better in tighter spaces.
The package says it is washable--I haven't tried it, but I appreciate that.

    Low-tack paper tape (16 January 2021)

I received this as a free bonus item with my order.
It is similar to Post-It note tape--very low tack. I found that it held my dies well--even with very little paper space outside the die to which it could stick.
I tried it with a very detailed and openings almost to the edge type of stencil--it was OK, but I think I'd need to run it all the way along the edge instead of just in the corners for it to really stick.
That said, I was able to use pieces more than once.
It is paper tape--it tears easily, so sometimes it would tear in two as I was removing it.
That said, though, I prefer it over purple tape for most projects--isn't too sticky and doesn't get cut by dies.
    Yes, I'd recommend it.

And with this, I have all of the Distress Oxide colors (for now) (15 January 2021)

I love the Distress Oxides--I didn't think I would, but they've won me over completely. I use Scrapbook.com's domed blending foam applicators to apply for my backgrounds.
Antique Linen is similar to other colors in the line, but great if you are a completionist who "wants it all" (guilty as charged) , have an eye for the detailed differences, love beige, or...whatever reason!
Good amount of ink in the pad. Glad I got it. I appreciate Scrapbook.com's discounts, too.

Can't go wrong with corgis! (12 July 2020)

My daughter loves corgis, so I was thrilled to see this set.

    Nicely made.

Wonderful strong purple color! (13 June 2020)

When purple is your favorite color, you have to stock up on all of the purple-hued Distress Oxides--or at least I have to do so!
This is a really vibrant shade that takes no prisoners--ignore the "wilted" in the name. Absolutely gorgeous. Great for using with blues and blacks for a space-themed background.

    Great size--convenient--stores easily! (13 June 2020)

This was on sale so I scooped it up, even though I don't crop or craft outside of my home much. It really is just a scaled-down version of the regular Tonic/Tim Holtz media mat--the main area (black underneath) is 8x8", while the white area (yes, it comes with the cover just like the big mat) is 4x8".
The sleeve is exactly that--it has an opening into which you can slip the mat. It's soft, so it isn't going to protect the mat if you drop it, but makes holding it for travel just that bit nicer.
This sticks out a bit--but not too much--from my 12x12" wooden slotted paper holder. If you are a worry wart, you might want to keep the outer box, too, but you really shouldn't need it.
I love having this smaller size!

    Scrapbook.com makes great adhesives! (13 June 2020)

This was a free gift and came in handy as soon as I got it! I love all of the scrapbook.com adhesives I have used. I use this for handmade envelopes and for tabs on 3D projects. The size makes it easy to store in a drawer (standing up, even!).

Ha ha...figure out how to open it, then you'll like it! (13 June 2020)

I got this for those assorted times I need a bit of moisture--sealing envelopes, etc. The cap pulls off--the instructions don't mention that. There's also a small thin paper inside (when you unscrew to add water)--use a set of tweezers to remove it.
Sturdy, good price. Hope the foam holds up.

    Nearly perfect (13 June 2020)

I am one of those people who cannot make a bow properly. This bow loom is great--it stores flat and makes a good bow in many sizes. That said, you kind of need a third hand if you follow their instructions--instead of holding down the start of the ribbon with your thumb, I suggest you use the notch on the center-left bottom of the loom. The one cheat they make is that your bow isn't entirely made from one piece of ribbon. You have to use a small string to hold it all together, THEN you have to cut & glue a small piece of ribbon around the center (to hide the string and to give it the right look). Since I was using a sheer ribbon, I couldn't really glue the extra piece on, so I had to forego it and have my string show. I was really hoping for an all-in-one bowmaker, which this is not.
Also, they show a variety of bows in the pictureson the front & back of the packaging, but no intructions for making any of those (which have multiple loops). Hmm...maybe I can find out how to do those by watching videos, but that's not really good packaging, is it?
I will definitely use this, but I wish it made a one-piece-of-ribbon bow.

    compatible & great (13 October 2019)

After someone raved about these on Splitcoast, I decided to try them. If you already have the Ranger handles, these work perfectly with those. (If not, do get the Scrapbook.com handles--they don't have the giant staple in them that the Ranger ones have).

The domed applicator makes application and blending much smoother than the flat Ranger applicators. I also like them better than the blender brushes--I have to press down really hard with those, but not with these.

Now we just need a great way to store them, but I'm sure Scrapbook.com will soon have a good storage container!

    VERY glad I got these.

Fun set--a little harder to line up well (13 January 2019)

This is a cute set, although it seems to me that some of the phrases and items were just thrown in but might not get much use ("from a foxy fellow"--most stampers are female). I appreciated that the packaging gave a suggestion for stamping order for the layering. I found that this set clouds up more than usual from use--even first-time use--so it was harder to line things up. That might just be me, but normally I don't have that problem. Glad I got it, though. There's a matching die cut set--cuts out the 2 fox shapes as well as 4 of the little shapes (pinecone, bow tie, glasses, and leaf.
