  • Great, portable trimmer! (08 March 2009)

I love my Fiskars trimmer. It's great that there is a lock on there so it doesn't open while in transit. The arm swings out so you can easily measure you cardstock. The blades are easy to change out too. I get great cuts every time.

Tip: If you think you aren't getting a straight cut, try rotating or flipping the yellow strip that the blade cuts into. You can actually use all four sides of the yellow strip, two on the front and two on the back.

  • Works great! (16 February 2009)

The Fiskars Peforating Blade does just what it is suppose to do, perfectly! It's easy to switch out of the rotary cutter too.

This is the perfect circle punch! (06 July 2007)

I cannot say enough good things about this circle punch. It hardly takes any effort to squeeze at all. Since it's hand held, it makes it quick and easy to line up the circle to punch out any pattern.

    Great tool! (06 July 2007)

I love the fact that the Stamp Press works well with both large and small stamps. It will save me from having to buy larger blocks. It's very easy to use, just place the stamps on, ink them up, and press.

  • Great tool! (12 March 2009)

I really like this tool. It punches through thick chipboard, thin metal, and several sheets of paper at one time. It sets eyelets quickly and quietly. What I don't like about the tool is that you can't punch very far in, maybe a half inch. Overall, it's a great tool.

Cuts straight and it's light! (11 July 2007)

Iíve been wanting to upgrade to a desktop trimmer and I am happy to say I am thrilled with this one from Fiskars. It makes a nice, straight cut - which is the most important thing to me!

Things I really like (besides the color!) -
*I like the fact that it is light. Even though itís meant to be left in one place, I will be moving it around in my work area and it will be easy to move it without feeling like I am struggling to do so. I actually thought it would be heavy and was pleasantly surprised.
*When I do move it, I like that there is a lock for the blade arm so it wonít swing up.
*The blade doesnít fall off! The casing the blade goes into is locked to the trimmer. This is a great thing. With my portable trimmer the blade falls off easily.

    Things that bother me Ė
*It doesnít measure out to 12Ē, it only goes to 8-1/4Ē. There is no arm that swings out either with the additional measurement. My previous trimmers both had a swing out arm and it is rather annoying that there isnít one. Because of this, there can be a bit of math involved when doing a few cuts. Iím getting used to it but Iíd prefer it to go to 12Ē.
*There are no cross measurements like on the 12Ē purple rotary trimmer. I didnít realize how much I used them until they were gone.

All in all itís a really great trimmer and I am happy to have it. My biggest complaint is that it doesnít measure out to 12Ē. The ease of use and perfect cut make up for that though and would definitely recommend it.
