What could be
More fun
Than playing in
The sand
The surf
The sun
Building castles
And rivers
And splashing
In the waves
There's no better
Way to spend
Hot summer days
Aquarium

velvety soft skin in dark/light contrastive camouflage
stroking the water smoothly
as sleepy leopard sharks drifted downward
sandpaper spiracles allowing them to rest
cartilaginous shapes and fins from the
endless
movement others were doomed to repeat
he looked up and saw the swirling patterns
of sleek silver anchovy above him
schooling
presenting the classic behemoth visual to would-be predators
his eyes widened and he pressed
his small hand against the two and a half inches of acrylic separating his oxygen from the chilly salt water
while a sun star's tube feet caressed him
from the other side

Off to Alaska
For a holiday
A family reunion -
Every sister and brother
We even brought along
Our father and mother
On the high open sea
We'll rest and relax
With the sun brightly shining
And tanning our backs
We're cruising to Alaska
To see what we see
We're off to Alaska
Out on the big sea

All joined in our fun.
We fondly lived our dreams
In the warm vacationing sun.

The sky is bright and the clouds are plentiful.

I felt so good that the plane had finally arrived.
The moment I stepped out, I am not used to the humidity
though I was born in this country long long ago.
Airport no longer is in the same place and the surrounding
has changed to what made me a stranger to this place.
I no longer could recognize the town where I used to
study my last course in the country.
Food is plentiful and easily obtained from anywhere in
the city where I could have a sumptuous meal anytime
of the day at a fraction of my food bill where I am residing now.
Shopping is a paradise here where branded and non-branded
goods are available though not more than those at western countries.
If not for the sake of getting a better living, I would not have gone
to the far away land to thrive for a decent living.
Joyfully I have met all those friends whom I planned to meet
and to realize how much they have aged which in turn made me
realized how much I have aged myself too. Though I have been
to a few places and met a few friends but do I have the opportunities
to see all that I wanted to see and do?

A place we all wish to go since the day of our birth
There’s so much to do and so much to see
And fun for all kids from ages one to ninety-three
From Main Street to the castle oh what fun.
Rides and splashing and fun in the sun
Mickey and Minnie and all their pals
Pooh and friends and the princess gals
Magic Mountain roller coaster and the famous Peter Pan
Tea Cups and Dumbo and the Pirates of the Caribbean
When the day grows long and the sky grows dark
We watch the fireworks before we leave the park
On one rail we venture out
Knowing all our dreams came true with out a doubt
