I have first seen you, in pictures so bold
Yet never your tiny body to hold.

In reflection’s of lives gone on,
Your great grandmother is one.

How she would love you
So sweetly she’d kiss.

Your Great Grandpa oh
What he has missed.

You’re made so perfect
Such a gift from above.

I pray that you will always
Be surrounded by love.

I ask God to shelter you and
Always keep you from harm.

And I hope some day to
I will hold you in my arms
