Into the world you brought me
Now I am all grown
You did all you could to make me see
Just how much you truly loved me

We Laughed, we argued, we disagreed
Never in this world
Could I have ever dreamed
You would be taken so soon from me

It's only been a short while
Since Jesus called you home
But, dear God,
I wish I could only see your smile

Your in the clouds, the mirrors, and the trees
Your image appears everywhere, you see
But nothing takes away this pain
Not even the whisper of your name
