just received my cutter, what is the perforating blade, they are talking about is this some thing that you can buy extra, or the blade that comes with the product.   By: User (22-Jan-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hi! they do make a rotary perforating blade for using in their rotary handheld cutters that will also fit their desktop and portable trimmers. i've seen them on amazon. there is also a scoring blade and a scalloped edge cutting blade-you buy them all separately- it didn't come with a perforating blade. always look for 'style F' blades for your trimmer. hope that helps! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NV4L10/ By: gabbe (24-Jan-17) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Will this work on chipboard? Thank you!   By: alilly1210 (04-Apr-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I tried using it on medium weight chip board. I found that you have to go over it several times before it will cut the chip board all the way through. I would not recommend this type of trimmer for chip board. It will also dull the blade faster. By: bennychen1 (05-Apr-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Haven't tried it on chipboard yet. It does require quite a bit of pressure and several swipes to cut through a few layers of cardstock, but I'm not very strong. You might do better with a guillotine style cutter if you often need to cut chipboard. Otherwise I really like this cutter for its precision.
