  • Does this Misti have the notched lid for easy lifting and the cut out to store the Misti magnet as well as the metal pins instead of plastic ones? The photo of the Misti shown doesn't look like it, but I see where people have said it is indeed the New Misti version. If not, I'll order it through lilliana.   By: sheri.ruemmele (05-Nov-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

If I tried to use a 12x12 piece of paper in this would it crease the paper badly?   By: User (07-Apr-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I purchased the Memory MISTI to handle my 12x12 paper and I also have the Original MISTI. Yes your paper would get a crease depending how much pressure you use to stamp. Wait until there is a sale here. Scrapbook.com by far has the best price on the MISTI that I have seen. I love having both as for my scrapbook pages fit perfectly in the Memory MISTI, and the Original is good for all my card making. I may even get the small one for travel and A2 cards. Have fun. You can use the MISTI system for repeated stamp positioning, lining up die cuts and stamps, registration of layered stamps, etc. The included bar magnet help to hold the position of your cardstock or paper and the included positioning grid paper makes it easy for you to align your designs before you stamp. • Oh, the question asked was for the Misti Corners tool. What I have use of it, I really like it.
      The "L" shape is 6.5 X 3.75 inches
The (2) small corner pieces (with 2-magnets on each) are 3 X 3 inches.
The long side triangle is 5 X 3 inches
And the triangle is 4 X 4 inches and the longest side on it is 5 inches.
The magnets on the 2 small corner pieces are really strong, DO NOT let them near each other!

These guides are really nice. I am still getting use to having them! I keep forgetting about them!😁
They do help to keep things lined up nicely, while stamping.

Hope this helps you. By: Candiem (11-Jun-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I got the Regular Misti (the middle size). I also got the new black one, instead of the pink. I love it!
I was using the Tim Holtz stamper, and I really liked it, too.
I thought I would try the Misti, since that is what most people are using. Now I know why! It has a sponge mat to stamp against, and I think it is what makes it so much easier to stamp. I found I use less pressure to get my stamps to come out clean and clear. And most of the time, once is enough! I think that rubber mat is a plus! I even bought the Misti mouse pad, too. Either one works. But the mouse pad can be wiped off, and has the grids already on it. I hope that helps you. I don't think you will be sorry, if you get one. 👍🤗 By: Candiem (11-Jun-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • Is the Memory MISTI still useful for cardmaking? I am a scrapbooker but also card maker so would like to use it for both...I just wonder if it is too big to use for cards.   By: bucknbron (16-Jul-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Is the Memory MISTI the large 12x12? Mine is 6 x 8. I think that the larger the better as you can stamp on larger pieces of paper as well as the smallest you choose. Check it out on YouTube so you can see how it works. It is like an acrylic block on a hinge, so the larger the block the more it can accommodate, but still easily stamp small items :) By: purpleponie (18-Jul-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I think the Misti would work on MDF. You would remove the black foam insert, which is done to use rubber stamps. Then the clearance from the base to the cover when closed is almost 1/4 inch. • What are the differences between the misti tool and the tonic stamp placement tool? Recommendations please?   By: shawntimm94 (21-Feb-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I bought the original MISTI (when they were being made in the inventor's home and you had to get on a waiting list), then I bought the Tonic tool because the MISTI's hinges are terribly crackled. I lived in fear of not having a stamping tool at all when they finally broke. I used the Tonic tool for awhile, but I wasn't happy with it. It took up a bit more space to use on my work desk. There was no cushion on the platform, and many of my stamps I have taken off of wood blocks and put Alene's Tack It Over and Over glue on the back to make them sticky. That resulted in issues, so I had to use craft foam to get better impressions. All in all I gave the Tonic platform away and bought two other stamp platforms. Each has it's own benefits - and I still want to replace my original MISTI with an updated unit that has sturdier hinges and lid. Note: I NEVER use harsh cleaners on it, only the recommended Novus product. It just looks like someone took a bat to it and it looks crackled, much like safety glass looks. I hope the new ones have better hinges and lids. By: pkedrm (25-Nov-23) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Hi! I don't have the Tim Holtz/Tonic stamping tool, only Misti, but here's a video comparison that someone did.

  • Looking at this for cards. However, also looking at the WRMK Laser Square coming in Oct. As I would like to line up everything not just stamps. What's your thoughts? I have never heard of this before. Thank you.   By: alilly1210 (30-Aug-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • The MISTI has graphs built in on the clear top where you adhere your stamps as well as graph paper on the stamping portion where you can correctly space and align your paper. Additionally, the MISTI requires no batteries, no set up time and is extremely portable. The only advantage I can see is the potential for larger sized projects using the WRMK . Those are my thoughts. By: Terri McM (02-Sep-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I own and use a laser square, but it still wont help you exactly align a stamp for re-stamping, because one can twist a stamp a fraction of an inch (rotate) and the laser suare wont catch that. its GREAT for applying thinly-sliced lines for borders, in a straignt line, and for making sure your sentiment is not 'cattywampus' to the edge of your card, if you designed it to aign to the edge. I am buying myself the MISTI because I stil need it. Buy yourself both. They cover two different applications. By: paularaegram (25-Nov-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
