Archival Inks are not compatible with Alcohol based markers, if you stamp with Jet Black Archival and color with Copics the Archival will smear, however Distress Inks like Black Soot will work when dry and to prevent any smearing you can heat set your image 1st to speed up the dry time so you can color quicker.
Archivals are great to stamp over an Alcohol Ink background where you stamp over the background or you can even wipe off the Archival Ink to create a resist pattern over the alcohol background.
