Questions & Answers

  • What is the difference between Adirondack and yupo paper?   By: indilisa34 (27-Jun-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Great question! The Adirondack Alcohol Ink Cardstock has a gloss finish on front and a matte finish on the back. Yupo paper is not really paper at all. Well, at least not traditional paper. It is a synthetic/plastic "paper" that can be cut but not torn. It does not absorb ink but rather alcohol inks sit on the surface. Hope this helps to explain the differences! • Adirondack Alcohol Ink paper is a glossy, coated paper. Alcohol Ink Yupo paper is a synthetic, smooth surface (technically not paper since it is synthetic and not made from wood pulp). The Alcohol Ink reacts and moves differently on each type of surface. By: Ranger Ink (27-Jun-19) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
