Questions & Answers

  • Hi. I wanted to know if Stick It adhesive sheets are clear once the backing paper is removed. Can I use it over patterned paper to add glass micro beads and if so will the pattern of the paper show through clearly after applying the beads?

    • What good questions! Yes, Stick It is clear. I think you should do experimenting before using Stick It on your final project. I find using Stick It for delicate die cuts is good. I recently read where burnishing the item would make the stick more permanent. That application is on the back of the die cut to stick it on a surface. I don't know if it would be sticky enough to hold beads permanently or not. That's where the experimenting would come into play. By: paula180 (08-Mar-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • When I use this stuff, some of it lumps up before getting it off the release sheet, to the point it doesn't smoothly cover the area i need to use. How do I prevent this?   By: INK THERAPIST (07-Jan-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • If you remove a bit of the backing at a time and apply it to the surface as you go it should help a great deal. Hope this helps! By: Scrapbook.com (09-Jan-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
