  • Are the Dina Wakley Scibble Sticks permanent after dried and also are they lightfast?   By: LepGold (07-Apr-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • The Scribble Sticks are a permanent when dried but may be reactivated with water if lots of pigment was used (ie pressed hard) and especially if you are working on a gesso/painted piece. If you use a light hand and on plain paper without gesso the sticks will be more permanent. Ranger doesn't test for lightfastness most everything will fade over time if exposed to a constant light source. By: Ranger Ink (10-Apr-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Do these bleed through thin Bible pages?   By: Tonyawrites (03-May-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hi, I tried them on a test page in my Bible that I have half of it with gesso and the other half not, so I just scribbled then blended with water brush, the gesso part was great and did not bleed through - the part without gesso did not blend but also did not bleed through. So then I tried just drawing a leaf on the part that is not with gesso and I put more pressure on the scribble stick and still did not bleed through - I am actually surprised - I did not purchase these for my Bible but after that little test I will probably use them in my Bible.
