The sewing machine and I don't get along. Never have and I think I finally just gave in to the fight. The machine wins and I just sew by hand! These little bugs make that a lot easier. The stitches are perfectly even each and every time. Plus, with the option of a single or double line of holes, you can even experiment with different stitches (like the straight line stitch or diagonals, for instance). If you are a perfectionist and want that perfectly straight line, use a higher edged item than a ruler to run them along, though. These guys run so smoothly that you run up on the low edge of a ruler if you are not careful. Also, be advised that these little guys are great, but not miracle workers. They can't cut through multiple layers of super-heavy cardstock without some serious pressure from your hand. However, they'll still leave enough of an indent that you can see just fine where to put the needle through. All in all, a great product that is definitely worth the tiny bit of space they'll take in your cropping tote! Besides, who can resist PINK???

I couldn't wait to buy these, then never got around to using them, sound familiar, lol! Decided to pull them out this weekend and give them ago, and just haven't stopped! I'm not a sewing machine girl and stitching on layouts seemed so labor intensive, but these little bugs make it easy! just make sure to push down hard enough especially if you have multiple layers.

I can't use a sewing machine to save my life. Just can't do it! So, all of my stitching in my paper crafting is done by hand. I used to have to take out a ruler and an awl, and poke the guide holes for sewing. That took forever! But, then I found the Cutter Bee Rotary Tool and...problem solved! It makes quick work of poking the sewing guidelines, and it is so easy to use! The only problem is that it's a little difficult to get a perfectly straight line (if that's what you're going for). Even rolling it along a ruler is a little tough. But, part of the look that I envy about the machine-stitched projects that I love is the imperfectly sewn lines! So, I don't have a problem with the lines not being perfectly straight. It actually looks more like an authentic machine stitch! Love this product...it works GREAT!
These looked great, but I thought they were probably difficult to use. Not so! They run smoothly along your paper. It really helps to put a mousepad or some kind of foam under the paper though to allow the holes to be punched better. I have used them freehand and also along the edge of a ruler with good success. I also love that the heads pop in when you're not using them so you don't poke yourself unintentionally. These make handstitching so much easier--with one row of holes or two. I can't believe I waited so long to get them!

I am just learning to sew, but in the mean time I am using these to get that perfect stitch! These are such a great tool and even if you don't use the thread, just pierce and leave for a cool look. I have also seen people use these to make the holes, then run over it with a marker. This gives the illusion of a stitched line! Love this tool, and it's pink which is even better!!!

I know they're meant to be a guide for stitching but I'm too lazy to sew..don't LIKE to sew but do like the stitched look. Sooo I use these to fake stitch...run them up the page and them connect the dots with a pen and voila! stitching!

You need these little bugs if you want to do stitching on a layout. This makes it so much easier than piercing the holes one at a time. I can't live without these handy little things. They are so inexpensive too! Try them, you will love them!

It is the perfect tool for sewing paper. It is very easy to use. And for perfect straight lines I use my paper trimmer to hold the paper in place and it works great.
