This is perfect for me. I could never get a perfect circle cut, but now I can. Martha's circle cutter is easy to use, and it cuts from 1" to 5-1/2" diameter circles, in 1/6 inch increments. For someone like me that has to get the most value for my buck....THAT'S 73 different size circles! It is smooth and produces a great cut and doesn't skip like other products I've tried. I keep it in the original package and it hangs up nicely, so it's within easy reach because I use it a lot.

This is a great addition to my scrapbooking tools. There is a large variety of sizes of circles you can make with it. The blade is very sharp but has good protection from the blade.
It doesn't take up alot of space for storage, all in all it is very good for scrapbooking or any kind of crafts.
I've always admired seeing layouts with circles. Now I can to. Love the idea of being able to make circles with the ease of this tool. I now can quickly make circles in various sizes and I am very happy with this!

Love it! Was terrified to open it from the packaging tho after reading a review about someone having an accident......n I'm quite accident prone, but had it for 2 weeks with no accidents.
This product needs to be re-designed. It is dangerous to use.
Last week I bought this circle cutter; couldn't wait to use it, I was so excited. I am a careful person, and I ALWAYS read the directions. I even saw the video on how to use this product on Martha's website. I was CERTAIN that I would have no probelms with using it.
The blade was difficult to insert into the tool handle. I struggled to remove the blade cover. Yes, I know that it is supposed to SLIDE off sideways. . . it didn't work for me. I tugged and tugged on the cover until finally it came off and cut my finger wide open.
After a trip to the emergency room for stitches, I decided there was something wrong with it, so I brought it to work to show the guys. One of them had no problem with removing the blade cover, but another person had the same problem as I did (but did not cut themselves :)). We are both left-handed, so I wonder if that could be the issue? I don't know for sure, but I DO know that it should not be difficult to remove the cover. In my opinion, it should be re-designed or someone else may have the same situation.
If I thought I could return it, I would. I am very disappointed in the product, and I am not a person to be negative for no reason. If you are contemplating buying this product, be warned.
I read through the reviews and was leary about buying this, but I figured that if I got this at my local PX and it didn't work the way I expected, I could easily return it. No need to worry, the item was extremely easy to use and I have made lots of perfect circles. I use this item on a self healing mat and not had any problems. I love the ease of the tool, you 'pop' it in a groove make the circle, many sizes to choose from. I love how you can store the replacement blades inside of the tool handle. I am really glad that I purchased this!
Bought this for my wife. She's used it a few times already, and likes it. She did mention that it takes some practice to operate correctly - but what tool doesn't?
It seems to be fairly sturdy, and it cuts circles.
this really does work. it never fails to produce the size you want, and there are many to choose from. you won't go wrong buying this item!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do like this product and have successfully used it to cut nice neat circles. I will agree with the other review that this is an inherently dangerous product. I too cut my finger quite badly as has a friend who also owns this product. My cut needed stitches to close it. Some of the 'safety' caps on blades really stick, in giving one an extra hard tug to remove it, it slipped and sliced through my finger to the bone. The blades are very sharp. Maybe a re-design of those caps is in order, if that happened it would be 5 star in my book!
While I am thrilled to be able to cut so many different sized circles for such a good price, I did not give it 5 stars for two reasons:
1. It's taking me some practice to use it perfectly. Trying different matts and pressure and such. Not a big deal, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it
2. Like several other reviews have testified, one wrong move and it gave me two very bad cuts! I guess on the bright side they are very good blades =P
Despite the setback, however, I'm glad I have this tool and would recommend it to any crafter!

I loved this cutter when I first bought it, but I broke the first one because I just barely missed the hole with the blade and the force cracked and shattered the plastic. I still gave it 4 stars because I know I have a heavy hand and nowhere does it claim to be a sturdy piece of equipment! I learned my lesson and bought another one because I do not have room in my room for that many individual circle punches! Just be careful to get the blade into the hole accurately or you could end up with a cracked wheel!
I thought it was fairly easy to use with a little practice and I was happy with the results. You've either got to use a semi tacky cutting mat and/or hold the paper still when cutting, which is totally reasonable, I wouldn't consider it a defect of the product. Go all the way to the product info page and watch the video, knowing the best way to use it made it easy to use right away.
I really like the fact that you can get so many circles from one tool. I expected it to be easier to cut the circles - maybe I have too heavy of a hand - but the circles come out well. Probably after more use, I'll get the pressure right to make the circles quicker and easier.
When i purchased this item, i really didn't know what i was going to use it for. Now that i'm more knowledge on some tools-i have to say this is one tool i'm glad i purchased. It's so much easier to make a perfect circle using this tool.
Works better for the larger circles. I will need to practice on the smaller ones since it is much harder to turn the wheel from nearer the center. Also have not yet been able to get the edges of the circles smooth.
