I like this even better than the SU! border punch b/c of the holes. I can't believe how many other (more difficult) ways I was making scalloped punches before this! The only downside is that it takes a little pre-planning if you want to carry the border to meet at a corner. It's do-able, though, just make sure the hole at the end (at the corner) is at 1/2 inch from the other edge (around the corner), that way when you turn the corner and start punching the adjacent edge, the holes will line up. Practice on scraps, first. Also, there is no receptacle that collects the punched out holes, so neat freaks be forewarned, you'll get some confetti action afterwards.
I have been looking for this punch for some time now, but it was always sold out. I got lucky because a friend found it for me at a local Michael's. Apparently, it was the last one because they're always high in demand! This has to be my new favorite scalloped edge punch! It makes scalloped edge paper when you want to use it on a project. The scallops came out a little smaller than I thought they would, but even still it comes out really cute! You don't have to push down on the lever very hard, so it punches without that much resistance. If you're looking for a good priced punch definitely check this one out. I promise you'll use it way more than once!

I waited such a long time to get this threading water punch, definitely worth the wait! Now I can't put it down! absolutely
loving the scalloped edges and the small circles! I have used mine for card making as well as scrapbook pages, I even used this punch to do a pretty edge at the bottom of a letter I wrote my mom! She thought that to be so clever!
Also have threaded embroidery thread through the holes, and ribbon! Have also used with brads alternating in the holes, really cute! Love how I can make a plain border into a piece of art! I don't know who thought up this punch, but definitely one of the best!
Such an incredible purchase!! I'm so glad I finally bought this punch, it is such a versatile product! I love seeing all the ways everyone uses this punch... it seems like the perfect accent to just about every page. The scallops are so cute, but could very easily go well on a masculine page. I love how there are so many possibilities when it comes to putting things in the holes or weaving ribbon through them! I can't wait to see all the things I can come up with now that I have this wonderful punch!

I'm so happy that Fiskars came out with this punch. I love the scalloped edge look and the holes are such a great accent. The quality of the punch is wonderful. I used it on Christmas cards yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. This is a great punch. You have to do a little pre-planning if you want to use it to go all the way around your paper, but the look is so worth it. I'd love it if Fiskars would come out with a circle version of this design!

I have been so anxious to get my hands on one of these, but it took me awhile due to their extreme popularity. When I finally got one I was so excited, and have not been disappointed! I love how much this border adds to my layouts--it looks like you did something really fancy, but it is sooo easy! I am so glad that Fiskars came up with this handy new tool--I LOVE it! I am now thinking that I should try out some of the other border punches that Fiskars has to offer.
Every time I would try to find this border punch, it would be sold out . . . I finally found it at my LSS 3 months ago and I'm absolutely loving it! I use it on many of my layouts and cards and have threaded ribbon through the holes at times. It's so versatile and very easy to use . . . I've used other brands of border punches before and was unhappy with the results. I'd definitely recommend this border punch to everyone! It was definitely worth the wait!
This has got to be one of my best purchases it gives endless possibilities to border either photos' or random artistic effects on layouts. With the era of the 'bling', it also looks great with matching or alternating bling, in each hole.. It is possible to also double layer the border, so the 2nd layer shows through 1st row of holes and the 2nd row of holes sits nicely under the scallop edge. Easy to extend along 12 X 12 " edge.

This is by far the best...or one of the best...scrapbook purchases I've made. I use this on almost every page. haha. That might wear off after a while...but I love it. It can be funky or elegant. To do complete page borders you have to line it up and it takes some work, but its EASY and you cant even tell where you stop/start. Corners take a bit of work...but it looks soo good once you get it figured out! I LOVE THIS PUNCH!
Used in this layout: Hey!
When I saw layouts with this border, I always wondered how people did it and I figured I could never attempt to draw the scallops, cut them and then punch the little holes in as to where it looks perfect.... Weeeell, I finally discovered this punch and the secret is out of the bag! I look forward to use this punch over and over and it is so easy to line up the paper to create a perfect border! Thank you Fiskars!
This seems to be a very popular look on layouts, and there was a deal going on so I couldn't pass it up. Using the punch requires a little bit of counting. Since it punches five holes and scallops, you need to line the first punch up correctly in order to make a long row of punches. It took a few times before I got it right. I definitely recommend this punch, it adds a beautiful accent to any project.

This Fiskars "scalloped edge" punch is one of the "new breed" of Fiskars border punches.
It has a new "improved" handle which makes using the punch so much easier. There was no "sticking" when using the punch on heavy cardstock.
Useing the grid ensures even punching along your paper.
With the new handle on these punches, I will definitely be buying more of them!
I was SO looking forward to getting this punch, and have not been disappointed. However, it does take a little getting used to - for example, when sliding across to continue punching, you have to be careful to line it up exactly. Other than that, it is a great product and I highly recommend it. I also enjoyed the video on scrapbook.com showing how to use the punch when turning corners. Great job!
The much anticipated scallop border punch by Fiskars is incredible. I predicted at CHA that this would be one everyone's must have list. and I was right! It sold out faster than you can say "border punch."
I love how easily you can line up for perfect punching all the way across your paper.
Thumbs up! and thanks, Fiskars, for dreaming up this really cool punch for us to play with.
SO WORTH THE WAIT!! It was out of stock and I patiently waited for it to arrive. When it did, I was sooo glad I had waited. It's so easy to use and added a great touch to my page. The holes line up beautifully, and I think I have a new favorite tool.
As a matter of fact, the day my ordered arrived, I used every item in the order to make my LO, and I absolutely loved the results.
I had been looking for this for so long and when I finally got my hands on it I was pleased! It does give a super cute edge on the paper similar to papers that already come with it on it. I was glad I could use this on any one of my pp's, and not just what was available in the stores.
It took awhile to learn how to line it up for me but I've got it down now. Very fun and versatile!

If you're like me, you love the quickutz strips and die cut paper. This little tool gives me the look of more expensive papers for a fraction of the price. I love the eyelet look and the results are good every time I use it. It only took a second to figure out how to line up the punch for a 12" strip, so you'll be punching anything that stands still long enough.
Several years ago when I first got addicted to scrapping I bought my first Fiskars border punch, the Ivy border. Recently I bought my 2nd and 3rd punches, both Fiskars, and one being the Threading waters. I love it! It is so easy to use and I really like the the edging it creates. I've already used it on several pages and plan to use it again and again...
Fiskars border punches feel very high quality to me. They easily cut through thicker papers, and even though they only cut a 2-inch piece of border, it is easy to line up the next section so that you can make it as long as you want. I love this scallop style because it makes a simple, but cute border that can add quite a lot to your layout!

I just purchased this punch today and I absolutely love it. The possibilities are endless with the border punch. No matter what you have in mind, this punch will had an extra touch to any layout. I look forward to creating both adorable and elegant layouts with this punch. I would definitely recommend this product to any level scrapbooker.

I've been trying to buy one here, but haven't had much luck. I was at my LSS yesterday, and they must have had a recent delivery, because there were 4 on the rack. I snatched mine up and played with it last night. It punches really smoothly and is such a nice clean design, I know I'll be using it tons for LOs and cards, especially cards.

I have used this punch so much since purchasing it that I have definitely gotten my moneys worth at least 2 times over by now. There is a video on youtube that you can look up on how to line the punch up properly to do punching on all 4 corners of a photo mat so the scallops are aligned great. If you buy this punch, check out that video!
I find myself using this punch all the time. It makes my lay-outs look great. You do need to practice a few times before you use it as you do need learn how to line the paper up properly. The edges are a liitle tricky, but if you leave 1/2 an inch at the side, it should line up just right. I would definitly recommend this to a friend!
I really like this punch! I'm not a big "punch" gal but I really like this one. I have been spending tons of money on the scalloped-edge cardstock and now I won't have to. The holes are the perfect size to tie ribbons or to use up some of those eyelets and brads that I stockpiled! The punch is light enough to take to a crop.
I love this punch! There are so many ways to use this pattern and it is really easy to use. The punch has a guide on it so you don't mess up the pattern as you punch along the paper. The punch is also very easy to push down, so lightweights (like my 4 year old!) can even use it. I would definitely recommend this product!

I could go on and on about how much I love this punch! It creates a great look on any page and in case you are wondering, YES YOU CAN ROUND A CORNER with it to create a smooth, flowing look around an entire page. The grid helps you line it up perfectly and with a little care, it is almost impossible to mess up!

This punch makes the perfect little accent to the edges of your papers! I have already recommended this punch to several scrapping friends, who have also gone out and purchased it and LOVE it! Easy to use, cute little design...just a perfect little accent and so much more fun than a regular flat edge!

This is the first of many border punches I've purchased! It takes a little getting used to - but the images on the punch make it really easy to line up the paper to continue the punch as far as you want. One of my favorite ways to use this punch is with rhinestones or brads to fill in the holes.
Used in this card: Birthday Card
I have been putting off buying this punch for ages just using my corner rounder and my Big Bite to copy it, but I finally broke down and bought the punch instead :) The punch has a much better look then when I tried making it on my own - LOL :) The picture doesn't do it justice, it's a great punch!
After watching the video and reading some of the review, I went out and bought this punch to try it out. I am so happy taht I bought it. At first it was tricky, and I wish it was clear so you can see where to line it up better. Overall, it's so much easier than having to trace and cut by hand :)

This is incredibly easy to use. You just align your paper, press the handle and voila! If you want to do a border on a 12"-paper, it's not a problem. You just take it little by little and align the paper with the pattern that's on both sides of the punch itself as you go. I love this tool! :)

I made a realllly cute dog page for a pet swap (Cute) and I made some Thank you cards, (Elegant). Does it all.
If you can get your hands on one, I HIGHLY recommend this punch.
I have several border punches from fiskars, how ever, this one, BY FAR is my absolute favorite!! The design works well on any page (ex. masculine, feminine, baby, birthday, kids) and it is so easy to use!!! I would definitely recommend this punch as a scrapbookers "Must Have" item!!

What a creative design. I ABSOLUTLY love MINE! It adds alot of character to the page and gives it a very elegant look. Very nice for doing cards also. It is easy to use and easy to store. You can use it on almost any LO and it will look good. And make your very own scalloped paper.

i bought this punch not sure about the border punches but had read how everyone loved them so i figured i would just jump on the band wagon.. I now use it for everything.. Cards, scrapbooking, layering, etc.. :) Awesome product will recomend it to anyone that likes scallops!
PERFECT everytime! That's what you'll have when you use this amazing tool for your edging needs. You simply cannot make a mistake - all the pattern is right there for you and when you line it up - WHA-LA - PERFECT edging. Try it...it will look great on cards, tags, pages.
I love the scallopped edge punch that makes decorating the edges of my pages easier than ever. I've been searchig for scallopped scissors and could find none. I'm thrilled to finally have a product to scallop my pages with. It's easy to use and cuts clean every time.
Until I got this punch with the cutting guide on each side, I could never punch an edge because I could not make the ends fit together. Now I can! This is a perfect edge for a journaling block, to peek from under a photo or just anywhere a little decoration is needed.

I was a bit skeptical about this punch. Once I got my greedy little hands on it and gave it a try I was in love. The guidelines make it so easy to punch a perfect border!! This is well worth the money. I can't wait to get my hands on more of Fiskars border punches!

I love the threading water border punch. It does a great job and is so easy to use. I watched the video on usage and a child can make it work accurately and quickly. There are so many variations one can do using this product. I would definitely recommend this product.
I have looked everywhere for this punch and was so excited to find it in the store here. It adds such a beautiful element to your layout or card and is so easy to use! I was worried I would make the punches crooked but it is completely easy! I highly recommend it.

I love this punch. I have some other border fiskars punches and sometimes they have trouble cutting the cardstock but not this one. To get this look before it would take me at least 10 to 15 minutes and it wouldn't look this perfect.
I really enjoy this border punch. It allows me to add that little bit of class and elegance to any project I use it on. The punch action is great and I love the effect. It works on everything from cards to gift tags and layouts.
I was looking for something that would just touch up on borders. This little gadget did the trick! I have even laced through the holes to add a little more effect. There are a couple more ideas I have in mind for this little toy.

I bought this punch and within the first week it is by far one of my most favorite punches. SO VERY EASy to use and I find myself reaching for it all of the time. If you are in the market for a new punch, add this one right away.
This punch works very easily, it lines up easily and the results are absolutely adorable. I've been trying to make this design on my own for months and so happy to have a punch to make it quickly and accurately. Thanks, Fiskars!

This design is great to use to give some texture to your layout without being too "girly". I have trouble finding border punches that work with scrapbooks for my son. The punch itself is very user-friendly.
This is a great punch!!! So easy to line up after the initial punch is made. Nice, clean cut. I find it easier to use standing up!!! This was my first Fiskars Punch purchase and it will not be my last!!!

LOVE this punch. Creates that same scalloped edge for which you can only get on some of the more expensive papers. And it looks great! Really adds a lot of "class" to any plain old piece of paper.
This is hands-down my favourite border punch - I absolutely LOVE it! It is SO easy to use and gives the perfect touch to your layout - I'm just bummed it took me so long to get one, worth the investment!

This stands up to quality that we expect from Fiscars. Easy to use and makes great borders and with a little imagination, several other trims. Like it almost as much as the ribbon punch.
This was the very first border punch that I bought and I Loved it! It punches very easily and it has a guide on it to line it up so you dont miss a spot while punching. GREAT INVESTMENT!

It took a couple tries to get used to the placement of the paper as I went along but I liked the end result. I am planning to buy others as this is an easy way to make a cute border!
I love this simple and lovely punch. It is very versitile and easy to use. There is a bit of a learning curve on border punches, but not much of one. Fixkars makes very nice punches.
This punch is wonderful! It is easy on the hands, the diagram helps line up the holes nicely, and the price was right! I would highly recommend for those scalloped borders!

Want a quick way to dress up any mat...page...or even just create some quick embellies to add to a page? This punch can do it all. The additional holes can be used for eylets, running ribbons or spacing rhinestones etc, to give your pages added flare.
One thing I wish it had...the design on top of handle as another brand does. It seems to assist in lining during the cutting process. Antother thing I would recommend is to back your thiner papers with another sheet for stability. This punch doesn't seem to like the more delicate papers.
Once you get the hang of it you will get beautiful results for all of your paper crafting projects.
I love the look that this punch gives my projects. I tend to use it on scraps to make border accents. I've also used it to embellish photos mats. My only issue with it is that it's a little hard to use with my right hand when I turn it upside down (my preferred punching method). The template on the top of the punch is nice (you're supposed to line up the holes you've already punched with the marks), but I still need to line up one of my previous holes with a punch-er on the bottom of the tool in order to be sure that I'm repeating the pattern EXACTLY. It's taken me a little practice!
I do love the cute little scallops and circles this punch creates! I would recommend it to anyone. I have used it a few times already. I can put eyelets in the little holes or brads or just leave them open. The only reason why its not a 5 star for me is that its kind of difficult to line up when trying to do a full side of 12x12 paper. Yes, you do line it up with the last hole punched, but this can be tricky, given that you've already punched part way through your straight edge that would have helped guide you. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it though!
I finally decided to splurge on this, and I'm so glad I did! I love the looks I can create with it. I do wish that the packaging gave some measurements - it's been a bit of trial and error to make frames with this, because I have no idea exactly how to space my cardstock. But so far it's been working well. The printed guides on the base of the punch (which look different from this photo) let you line up what you've already punched for a smooth border, which I found very helpful.

I love this punch!! I am totally not a punch collector. In fact I think I own maybe four of them but I was so tired of cutting scallops by hand and this punch has been the thing that has saved me!! The only thing that I have struggled with is when you punch it more then twice it is hard to know how to line it up.
Even if you are not a punch kind of person, if you love the look of scallops and are thinking about buying this go for it!!!

I recently purchased this punch. I really like it. It cuts well and the effect looks nice. However, the name of the ppunch,'Threading Water' is not on the punch itself, only on the packaging. As I like to list the products I use I had to tape a piece of paper with the name to the punch so I have something to refer to.

I have just received my Border Punch from Fiskars and am thrilled with it. I have put it to good use already making greeting cards for my loved ones. My cards look adorable and much more professional with this tool. Ihave looked for something like this for a long time. It is very simple to use and is quick and easy.
I love this border, and the punch is very easy to use. Just for a small edge, or all along a larger paper's border, all you need to do is line up a few of the last "dots" and punch. They all line up perfectly and the pattern looks great on my pages - with or without a pattern or color behind it.
I really love this punch. It adds the perfect detail to my pages. My only problem with it is it's kind of hard to tell where your punching unless you flip it or line it up perfectly. Other than that it's still an awesome product and I use it often. Practice makes perfect with this one.
This punch is so nice looking, but it is not the easiest to use. I find mine is somewhat "stiff." Using the guide to line up the punch to have a continuous line also takes getting used to. I do like mine, but if there was an easier way to do it, I would jump at it.
But it seems to stick a bit...
Don't know why.
I'm going to try punching through some waxed paper - the cuts are clean so I know the punch isn't dull.
I've already used it, oh, I don't know, 30 times since I got it!
(Ok, I admit, I was creating some cards...)
I've never owned a border punch before, but I think this is a great product. I wasn't sure at first how it worked, especially since the punch part was so short, but if you line it up properly and follow the instructions, you shouldn't have any problems.
i love this punch! it makes such a cute border!
the only drawback is that it only punches 5 scallops at a time. it's easy to line up, but difficult to make neat looking corners with. i'd also like to see a version with the scallop but no hole. :)

This is the first BORDER punch I've purchased, and I did because I just love the scallop trend. It took me a few trys to get the hang of lining it up for a full 12" but the video was super helpful and I know it will continue to use it LOTS!
This is a nice punch, but I have a hard time lining it up, but even with is sort of lined up it looks okay. This is one of my standards punches I use a lot though.
Stampin' Up has a great plain scallpp punch and is much easier to use.

Its a bit difficult figuring out how to line the punch up, once I figured that out...not used to starting in the middle of the page, it worked well. There is no "catcher" to hold the pieces so they fall on the table or floor.
I just love this punch..
It does take some getting use to at first to line up everything correctly, but once you try it out a few times it is such an awesome way to add character to a page!

I used this punch to make a greeting card border - then threaded ribbon through the holes. It is easy to punch through cardstock, I haven't tried it on any thing else as yet.
Wish I had bought this a long time ago--it's great for lo's and for cards, adds a beautiful border. Just wish the punch part was longer--it punches only about 2" at a time.

This is great punch for borders on spring or baby pages, or for cards of all kinds. Fiskars makes wonderful products of very good quality. The only reason for giving it only 3 stars is that I feel it is a bit limited on the type of page I would use it on, and the pattern is a bit smaller than I expected.
It's a great punch but it's only about 2 1/2" wide. I thought the punched paper would be at least 4-5" long. I was so disappointed that this large contraption provided such a small punch.
