This little tool performs exactly as advertised. When I first saw the offer to get this nifty little gadget for free with any order in my email I was pretty skeptical. However, I watched the video demonstration for it and was intrigued. I have always had trouble maneuvering any kind of craft knife just like other reviewers who posted. I figured since it was free what could it hurt to try it? When my order was delivered I couldn't wait to open up this little tool and give it a spin. It is amazing how great this thing works!! I not only cut around chipboard letters that I adhered to a sheet of Christmas paper, but the blade is so precise that I was even able to use the negative as a stencil by placing a solid cardstock beneath. Unbelievable control and no learning curve as it really is just like using a pencil!! If you use a craft knife for any of your projects you've gotta try this -you will love it! Thanks sb.com for the freebie that became an instant fav in my tool inventory.
Ok, so I admit it. I am terrible at using those craft knives. I cut the paper everywhere but where I want the cut to go. I just can't guide them well. Then I found this little tool. I was skeptical, but it was pretty cheap and I decided to give it a shot. I LOVE IT. It gives me so much control. It doesn't slide out of my hands like the regular craft knife. It doesn't twist when I don't want it to twist. I just put the orange handle around my finger and use the tip of my finger against the metal area to guide it, sort of like a pencil. It cuts really well and accurately. It takes a bit of getting used to when you have this hard plastic band around your finger, but it's not uncomfy. It's just different. I'd recommend this to anyone else who is craft-knife challenged like me!

I have bought probably a dozen craft knives over the years, all of them went to the trash can. I have never been able to coordinate/control/use a craft knife. When this came up, I thought, what the heck this is different I'll try once more. This thing is amazingly easy. It took me only 3 attempts to get the hang of how to use it properly. I am merrily slapping paper on chipboard and trimming around it now, making a mini book for my DD's 1st anniversary!!! No more trying to cut the paper on the paper trimmer to fit the pages, I just put the paper on and trim with this little craft knife. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!! AWESOME!
I was completely unable to use a craft knife until I discovered this product. With this knife, I am able to control all my cuts. The knife cuts easily, and exactly where I want it to. It's like an extension of my own finger. New craft doors have been opened for me now that I finally have a craft knife that I can use. I keep it handy as I reach for it constantly to fix little cuts that my scissors can't reach. I've been able to finally use my chipboard stash, too! This knife is great when tracing around chipboard.

I admit, when this product came out of the market, I was pretty excited. Imagine being able to cut out the tiniest details that even the sharp-tipped scissors cannot. I have been using this for quite a while now and it has been very easy to use and so functional. All you have to do is insert it on your forefinger and cut away like you are using a pencil. I like it better than the cutter because I have better control with the blade. I use it whenever I can and not only for scrapping but also when i sew.

got this about 2 weeks ago and I am using it for everything! It wasnt even awkward to get used to holding it on your fingertip. It cuts great and with having the pressure being on the point it hasnt wondered around and made a miscut as other knifes have done to me. I use it alot with a metal ruler to cut straight lines and with my perfect layers ruler templates.

I used this tool for the first time and it was amazing. It was so comfortable to use, and I had my doubts at first. I was able to make small tight cuts with ease. If you like to cut out your own letters or flourishes this is a great tool to have. It cut my card stock without any effort. I look forward to using it again on other projects.

I read the past reviews and decided to give this a try. I have used other craft knives before and they were good for straight edges using a metal ruler. However, I did have a problem free handing small cutting areas. This was easy to use and worked great! The small size and protective cover makes it easy to take to crops.
If your are like me and can't use a craft knife to save your life you will love this little knife. It's comfortable and it cuts right where you want it to. The difference between this and a regular knife was like night and day for me. I use it all the time now. Great buy for such a small price!
This little knife really fits snug in your hand. I bought it after watching the video demonstration...and it really does work as well as it seems. It's quick to grab and does offer precise cuts for your projects. It's sort of like fingerpainting, but on the tip of your finger is a blade...
This tool is awesome! It makes cutting intricate designs so much easier! I love covering chipboard letters now because this tool makes it easier to trim the paper! It really does cut exactly where you point and making wave cuts are so easy! This is definitely the best knife I own!
I found this knife to be the answer to my craft knife problems! It's a lot easier than a swivel knife, and I get much better results. It's comfortable and easy to use... I can't imagine not having it now! I use it on amost every project! I definately recommend this to all crafters!

If you are looking for an easy to use craft knife, look no further! This is awesome! I have not had much luck in the past with craft knives. I always found them hard to use, but not anymore! This is a very inexpensive must have to add to your scrapbook stash! Great product!
I was skeptical when I first saw this little craft knife, but one use and I was sold! I have complete control over the knife so which ever way I move my hand, the knife moves too. I can make precision cuts with my new craft knife. This is a must have product!

I love this little craft knife! I usually use a regular straight knife, but got this as a gift. It is so easy to use! It gives you so much more control when cutting around curves. I used it for cutting around an altered puzzle piece, and it worked wonderfully!
I was talked into purchasing this- after looking at it and then walking away 20 times. It was the best purchase I have ever made. If you can trace a line with your fingertip- you can cut anything. I LOVE this tool- and wonder how I ever scrapped without it.
If you can trace with your finger, you can use this knife! It is so easy and fun to use, you will be looking for things to cut out! The only suggestion for improving it that I can make is to make the gripper softer. Other than that, I love it! :)

I just got this little guy in the mail yesterday, and just had to try it out. I like the "controlability" that I found. I am one of those that can be frustrated with using other knives so think that this will fit the bill and ease frustration.
I had the opportunity to use the fingertip craft knife yesterday and what a great tool! I cut through the foam core board I was trimming easily, I could see where I needed to cut and was pleasantly surprised that it was so easy to guide.
I really love this. Thought it would be too difficult or scary to use, instead, it is so easy. It feels much safer than my old exacto knife. The control is great! I ended up forcing my girlfriend to buy her own. I am not sharing LOL!
Short and sweet: I was using another brand/type of craft knife, and found it awkward and so rarely used it. On a whim I decided to give this one a try, and wow! It's awesome. Very comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommended.

I am always challenged when it comes to exacto blades ... WOW!!! was this made for me. The 1 I bought is hot pink . Fun easy must have tool. I can not see myself reaching for another cutting tool.

Having a knife blade at your finger tip when cutting out detailed images is a big plus! The amount of control you gain is amazing. Just be careful to not forget you have it on your finger.
I appreciate the control this knife gives me. It's also easy to find on my drawing table when it's loaded with a project (I seem to always misplace my other standard craft knife).

Who knew I needed a steel blade extension on my finger? A stroke of genius! I love the control and flexibility of this odd little knife! It is totally comfortable and efficient.
Up until now, I've hated exacto and craft knives, I feel awkward using them and worried that I'll cut myself. This is easy for me to use, and comfortable.
I love it! Easy to use and get used to. Another great Fiskars product!
My cuts are cleaner and closer when doing detail cutwork. Lov it!

I love this little knife. I can control the cutting so well and it is not awkward to hold. Love it.

I purchased this with the BoBunny Retractable cutter. They both address my problems with the EXACTO Knife which seems to have a mind of its own. The better control is my biggest issue and both have a blade protection feature that really works for me. My biggest question is........ does it take standard replacement blades or do I have to get something designed for this handle? It did take a little practice to get the thing in action on my finger (but it was initially upsidedown)....nobody said that I was mechanically brilliant!
I have mentioned both products to other crafters and you will probably be hearing from them as well!
This tool is so neat! Having the blade closer to the paper with a small knife like this gives you so much more control for precision and accuracy. It is especially good for trimming chipboard and getting into tight spaces. You won't be disappointed if you buy one!!
I really like using this tool, but it is hard to swivel around curves. I see that Fiskars is coming out with a swivel knife version of this product and I think that is going to be a really great item.

Well maybe its me, but I still dont have quite as much control over this as I'd like. It may need more practice, but I'm prepared to keep trying. Basically a good product!
I, like everyone else, have issues with using a craft knife. I can never keep it straight, it cuts where I don't want it to, etc. etc. When I saw this product I thought it would be the answer to my dilemma. However I was mistaken. I don't think it is actually the product as much as the way I use it. I don't hold my pens/pencils the correct way (with pointer and thumb). The way this new craft knife is made doesn't allow you to hold it any other way.
So while it is an ingenious product, those of us who don't hold our pens correctly may tend to have some issues
I was excited when I saw this, and I watched the on-line video and thought it would be fantastic. My first use for it was to cut out the paper for the word "Love" for a mini book. It was difficult to do with this cutter. I ended up using my Xacto with a swivel blade. If you're cutting straight lines or cutting a free-hand design, it work's great. If you're used to using an Xacto and holding it much like a pen, then you might find this difficult to adapt to.

I bought this thinking I would have more control than cutting with a traditional straight craft knife. I did not have more control, but got a lot of ooh's and aah's and it was comfortable to hold, but one day it just FELL APART! All it's component parts just fell apart. There was no fixing it. I went back to my craft knife which is strong and accurate. Not as ergonomic, maybe, but it has never broken apart.
