I use these a lot, mostly doing shimmer spraying. I'm using Perfect Pearls dusts with water and ink, the Tim Holtz way, and the nozzles have never clogged up.
They are small and handy. It's easy to pump, your wrist wont go shaky after five pumps. The mist is really fine, just make sure you don't hold your project too close to the nozzle.
If you have many it will probably not be long until you will want to buy the stand that goes with it. Or, I've seen some really nifty home made ones in the galleries here.
I could complain that it is sometimes hard to direct the spray precisely, since the little vent is almost invisible, but I just love these too much to give them any minus points.
I've got nine now! :)
This is a product I never thought I needed. In fact I got 3 for free at a class taught by Tim- he gives away the products after the last class so he doesn't have to haul it all home. I never use them until this spring. I took Creative Chemistry 101 and learned who to make my own mists. Yes I had seen the videos on-line for making knock-off mists but I wasn't interested. I loved the Glimmer Mists I had. But we lost our LSS and now getting a much needed color quickly is impossible. Plus once I saw how gorgeous and custom the home-made mists can be I ordered 3 more Mini Misters and the holder for them with the intention of making more mists. The misters work very well.
Just recently I decided to try distressing on my hand made cards. Watching a video with Tim Holtz who does a lot of projects with Ranger Inks, he says that after using a Distressing Ink on the edges of die-cuts, to spray them with a water mist. Have you tried looking for a little bottle that sprays just a very fine mist? Well I have; I couldn't find any in several local craft stores. I searched on Scrapbook.com and saw they sell Ranger Ink Mini-Mister Bottles. You can also use these to spray a mist of ink.
I had seen these mini misters used on a video at the Ranger site and wanted to try them. I was surprised at how powerful the spray is. I loved mixing Perfect Pearls with water in the sprayers and creating a shimmering surface to my project. I bought the small pack to try them out, but now I will need to get the large set so I can have lots of colors at hand.
The mini misters by Ranger give a finer mist than even the distress spray inks do. I make a solution of one-third ink(from a distress ink) and two-thirds water. Great for cards and layouts.
I wasn't too sure what I would ever use these for but found that I needed them originally for my alcohol ink that did not come in a spray bottle itself and from then I was hooked. One mister can hold an entire bottle of the Adirondiak (not sure of the spelling on that one) ink droppers. I was able to spray everything I needed and had about a third of the mister left which I then transferred back to it's original bottle. I washed the mister out quickly and have used it several times since with various colours. I found that my green one has started to stain a little but the colour that stains it does not bleed into other colours that I have used with it, but I did buy another couple of packs and have individually labeled each mister with each ink since I now use them so often. It's great for water and other various items for a different look on your page. I also have one that is empty so I can use it to blow paint for a different look. Definately more versitile than I originally imagined and am totally glad I got these.
This is a must have item in your tools for scrapbooking, atcs, or any art form. I have used them to make my own colored mists using the distress reinkers and perfect pearls. Perfect pearl powders do not get stuck in the nozzles or spray globs of water at all, you just get a nice fine mist for your project. I also use them to clean off my rubber stamps while I am still working on a page so I don't have to get up to clean them right way. I use one filled with plain water to also clean off my ranger craft mat (another must have item). This products is so fantastic that one package won't do you must have more so you can make dozens of colors of your own handmade mists!
I absolutely love these! The spray is such a fine mist. The container is so small it fits anywhere--perfect for my travel art journal kit. There are so many things you can do with them. Fill with water, re-inkers for color sprays, pearl powder for glimmer sprays--so any things!
I love this product! I bought this the other day after watching a Tim Holtz video demo about using the pearl with water in this container. This is a nice size and you can carry them to crops, they are the perfect size. A Must buy!!!!
PERFECT for making your own mists! fill them with water, add any ink refill (I love tim holtz distress inks, but you can use whichever you prefer) and voilá! you can also use them with water only for water colouring or with perfect pearls.
This mini-mister just gives you the right amount of mist each time. It does not give a big blast. Together with the non-stick craft sheet, it is te best thing I ever bought when it comes to tools.

These misters are sturdy, do not clog and are easy to fill, (both with water and with ink). The lid is easy to remove and the mist is very fine. I am most happy to own these!!!
Can't live without them since I got them. Work great and very easy to clean out the sprayer if they become clogged. Work great for making my own glitter mist or paint spray.
These mini misters are awesome, in fact so much that this is my 3rd package so I have a variety of colors ready to go...
I really love the mini misters. They are small enough to hold enough color for my projects & don't take up a lot of storage space. I was getting ready to order more when I noticed they now come in colors. The colors are cool but I would prefer to have the clear. Still love em.
I purchased these mini misters after seeing some Tim Holtz videos. They do work very well in creating a very fine mist for you to wet the ink and blend it but I have not been able to mist a completed project to create a blotched look.

works great on alterd prodjects.A little ink or pigment powder and water goes a long way.Small enough to take to crops.Cost WISE just mix what ya need, never have lg. bottles unused, laying around.
I love the fine mist that is produced and the fact that it wont clog when Perfect Pearls are added. I have had problems with over spray, but am overall pleased with the product.
These are such a great product....IF IT WORKED. These are so awesome when they work but most of the time like 9 times out of 10 they do not work. Sometimes washing out the top and cleaning out the hole helps, most of the time it doesnt. I really wish they would figure out a way to make these more functional because like I said they are awesome when they work.
These bottles are quick to get clogged. I bought them to make my own glimmer mist. It didn't matter what kind of pearl I put in them, they would clogg. Great for spraying water. That is it.
I have tried 3 times to use my mini misters I brought 12 of them. All three have clogged immediately. I have shaken the mini minsters over and over again and still nothing sprays out. I e-mailed Tim Holtz and bless his soul he e-mailed right away and HE DID NOT have the answer either. SO, IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE PLEASE TELL ME HW TO GET MY MINI MISTERS TO SPRAY AGAIN. I have wasted 3 colors so far and I can't continue if 3 get plugged up I have a feeling the others will also. SOMEONE HELP ME. PLEASE!!!!
