I LOVE my expression!! One of my favorite cartridges is the wildcard cartridge, and you can't really use that cartridge on the baby bug. I love the size of what you can cut on this machine! all the way up to 12x24! I don't use the functions on the actual machine, because I use the design studio for everything. I use this machine the most during christmas when I have to cut out multiple things at once! there is an option on the machine where you choose your image, set it to the size you want, then push a button (havn't used this feature in about 6 months lol, I don't remember what the button is called) and it will fit as many of the image in that size as it can on that picture! I just made 100 tags for christmas presents, and it was so easy to make duplicates! Just put the paper in, chose my settings, and walk away for a few minutes! I can't tell you how much this machine has saved my life! I really love cricut for the images, not so much the fonts though. I use my pazzles inspiration for my fonts. I would say the only down fall to this machine is the fonts aren't that great, and you are stuck with just using the specific images that provocraft has on the carts, plus I am guilty of buying a cartridge for just one image! that's 80 bucks waisted!!!!
On the flip side, I love this machine because finding images is so much easier then on other machines!! You know what you have, which makes it easy.... BUY THIS MACHINE!! you wont regreat it! I promise :)
I love my Cricut. It is a great tool. I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I do, but I actually love it. I use it on most every layout. I love the fonts I have for it. I also love the die cut elements you can make as well. I tried the smaller version out at a Joann Fabrics a while back and was unimpressed with the stickiness of the cutting mat. I got my Cricut at a good price from Walmart and it was a worth while investment.

If I could've given this product 10 stars, I would have. It is the best thing I've bought for my scrapping/cardmaking. Ever.
It has so many useful features, with the main one being able to cut up to 12x24. It allows you to expand your crafting to making your own scalloped paper and lace cardstock (with the help of Design Studio).
If I'm not using Design Studio, I love being able to move the blade to start cutting exactly where I want it to cut. And then there's cutting in portrait mode, fitting to the page, fitting to the length of the mat (for the larger mats), and being able to cut multiples of the same item all at once.
And then there's the multicut feature. With this feature, you can cut slightly thicker cardstocks, like Bazzill Bling, and even thin chipboard. I have cut thin chipboard, think the thickness of two or three cereal boxes, in my Cricut on multicut 4x.
There is so much to say about this product, and it's all positive, glowing praise. The Cricut Expression is by far the best investment I have made for my scrapbooking/cardmaking hobby.

When I first saw the advertisements, I really didn't think I'd use a Cricut that much. Then, a scrapfriend got one and a second scrapfriend got the Expression and I was hooked.
I LOVE it! I use mine not only for scrapbooking for to make Christmas presents, holiday decorations, place cards for dinners, birthday and all other kinds of cards and even gifts. I made a package of personalized note cards for someone as a gift and it got rave reviews!
I of course wish the cartridges were a little cheaper but I always wait for a sale and have never paid full price and I share cartridges with my two scrapfriends. The only thing is that I wish the Expression weren't so big, since I don't have the space to leave it out all the time, whenever I want to cut something, I have to take it out, set it up and then put it away. Sometimes this has been a pain because I cut a title and put the Cricut away and then I damage a letter or piece and have to drag the whole thing out again.
If you have a place to leave it set up and ready to go, it's awesome!

I am both a scrapbooker and a teacher and this new machine was worth a million bucks to me! I can use it for bulletin boards, name tags, labelling areas of my classroom, etc., etc., etc. And scrapbooking? Forget it! It's unreal; the ease of use is indescribable; they always say that you're cutting right out of the box and they are not kidding! Within 5 minutes I was scrambling to find some paper to play with! It's multi-size feature is something that makes it worth the price alone. Where else could you cut something up to 23 inches? And the ability to cut out mutliple pieces on the same page (of the same or different image) is a dream come true. If you have ever wanted letters, shapes, designs or anything else for your scrapbooking (and don't forget teachers, too!) needs, get this product! It is well worth the cost and if you find cartridges on sale, snatch them up and build up an incredible library of choices that will keep you busy for years to come. Let the boys have their toys....this is mine!

This is my absolute #1 must have scrapbooking item. I love it so much!!!! I tried other cutters before but none had the ease or versatile like the cricut expressions.
I’ve already recommended it to all my scrapbooking friends and the ones who went out and got it agreed with me that it’s the best!! Afew friends were undecided weather the cricut expressions was really worth the extra money and thought about getting the original. I can guarantee you that the expressions is worth the extra money and everyone I know is glad they got that instead of the original. At first you think “I’ll never need to cut that big” but you’ll be surprised how many things you find to cut that large, and how much fun and versatility all the extra features give you. My favorite thing to cut is borders and all the fancy backgrounds (especially the ones in “happily ever after”).

oh yes i have this one also , my son in law bought it for me last year. and i love this and use this most of the time. i have made some posters, and award plaques with this one, even cut out christmas embies for my grandsons school sign in the classroom.
made some flash cards for the teacher, hearts for valintines day now cutting out large bunnies for them for easter.
they really loved the different hears and sizes.
i love it, best thing i ever received for a gift. what a surprise.
you can cut chip board, fabric, vinyl, and i missed most of the show but they sud you can even cut out quilt squares on this.
my only complaint is they need to do a design book or several and a miltary carts. for the machine.
this is the best for the money because it does so much.
try it i am telling you once you do ,well you can't stop.

How about 100? This machine is amazing. I mean, amazing! It cuts up to 23 1/2 inches (with the right mat) and it's fast and easy, literally works right out of the box. A must have for the serious or silly scrapper! This would be a great tool for teachers, cardmakers, scrappers, school projects...there are no limitations. Don't let the price of cartridges scare you. There are usually plenty of sales and sites that offer discounted prices and the different images you get with each cartridge are unbelievable. Totally worth the price!
Of note, the Expression does not have a carrying handle, so taking it to a crop is tricky, but worth it! I highly recommend this wonderful tool for anybody who considers themselves 'crafty'!

I LOVE the Cricut Expression. The more I use it the more it amazes me.
There is nothing better than having the ability to make unique & interesting titlework that is the color, size, font that matches my vision instead of making due with prepackaged stickers/chipboard. Never running out of the letter "a", "e" & "t" is freeing & allows me to title my pages without a second thought.
I don't sacrifice the look of chipboard just because I'm using the Cricut. I just cut multiples of each letter/shape & adhere them -- usually 4 or 5 gives me a similar look of Thickers style letters.
Sure there is a learning curve with certain paper (Bazzill) but as long as you have a sticky mat the results are good

I received my Cricut Expression last Thursday (10/23/08). This machine is hands on once the cutting device is manually inserted. Inserting the cutting device was a little tricky to be honest. The pictures in one of the manuals did not properly display how to insert it. The machine came with three different manuals which helped a great deal. I was able to figure it out within 10 to 15 minutes.
The LCD display screen is awesome! There isn't anything that I could say negative about the display screen.
The Cricut came with a quick set up guide that I was able to read and started using the machine within 30 minutes.
I think the Cricut Expression is totally worth the investment!

AWESOME is the best word I can use to describe the Expression. I wanted one for quite a while before I took the plunge and am SO glad I did! I love that I can cut anything I need at any size I need! My pages/cards have been so enhanced since using this! There is no more blank little spots on my LOs that I just can't decide what to fill with. There is always something with the Cricut at any size I need to fill in the gaps.
I am in LOVE with this product!!! I thought it was cool before purchasing, but it has far exceeded my wildest dreams on what you can do with this machine!
My next purchase...Design Studio! I have the trial and really like it. :)
I had been watching the CRICUT EXPRESSIONS infomercial for a few months. Just watching and drooling. I had metioned it a few times to my husband without much reaction from him. Then one day it was featured on HSN and I had the remote control to the TV. Therefore my husband was forced to watch. After the sement he was the one placing the call to order it for mr as my mother's day gift!! I took me a little practice to get the hang of what pressure I should use on different types of paper. It is a great machine!! I am a new scrapper and completed my first 3 projects with it. I am sure my Cricut will be involved in all if not most of my scrapping!! I LOVE IT!!

This is the best investment I have ever made in my scrapbook supplies. Well I have to give my husband credit for the 24" cutter since he bought it for me for Christmas, but I had the smaller one for over 2 years and absolutely loved it. I keep the smaller one in a closet so I can take with me to crops and I have the 24" on my desk and I use it all the time. I have used it for my son's science fair projects, scrapbook pages and vinyl lettering for my walls. I can honestly say that everyone that I know that has one truly loves it. This is a must for any scrapper or crafter.
This is the greatest thing invented since, well, EVER! I love everything about this tool. It has become the first tool that I think about using on any new lo or project. I bought the baby bug in 2007 and graduated to the expressions a year ago.
During this past year, I have had no problem convincing my friends that they were 'out-of-touch' if they did not possess the coveted Cricut!
Six members of my scrapbook group at church are now proud owners of there own Cricut due to me singing non-stop praises about the Bug!
Hey, where's my commission check?!? LOL

I would recommend this machine over and over to anyone and everyone! I love it and feel it's one of the best purchases I've made. There are sooo many different features and options. I love that I am able to cut 23+ inches - this is great for teachers!!! There are so many items available to use with the Expression - such as the Design software that I haven't even worked with yet! I've had my Expression 9 months and still discover new things each time I use it! What a great investment! I urge you to check this out - you won't be disappointed!
I have had my Cricut Expression for about 5 months and I absolutely love it. It took me a litle bit to master things but with the addition of the Design Studio the machine is well worth the money. If I was starting over again as a new scrapbooker I would only buy the Cricut Expression, beautiful paper and great adhesive. You can do so much with this machine and they are adding more capabilities all the time so that other items can be cut besides paper and cardstock. This is the best money I ever spent on my hobby.
This is hands down the best purchase I have ever made for my scrapbooking/card making hobby. I use it every time I do a layout or card. The possibilities are endless. AND I can mass produce if I need to make more than one card.
I also use it when helping my kids with their projects. Titles for posters, science fair boards, and more!
I have even used it for my bulletin boards and projects for my classroom. I teach 1st grade and making die-cuts for 19 little ones is easy peasy with this awesome machine!

I am just a beginner of Scrapbooking and my husband bought this for me for my birthday, and it is GREAT!! There is alot of things you can do with it, and alot of learning to do because it can do so much it is just wonderful. At first the mat that the paper goes on is just a little to sticky at first but once you break it in, you can go.....without tearing the paper trying to pull it off. But again I am new so maybe there is a trick I just do not know about. Still learning but it is just pure fun.
This is the most valuable piece of scrap goodness that I own. It has saved me soooo much money thus far. I got it for Christmas and have used it almost every time I scrap since. My daughter is even using it to do homework projects. I don't know what I did befor I got this. It cuts every thing from letters to beautiful butterfly shapes and evn flowers...oh and Trains....I love it!!!! Absolutely a MUST HAVE for every home. You don't even have to scrap to use and LOVE this one.

I had my cricut expression machine for almost a year and I really loved it! It helped me out with my cardmaking business a lot! It's convenient and saves me a lot of time in creating my projects and I don't have to buy all different kind of die cuts which saves me a lot of money. The cartridges have a lot of options to use for. And so easy to use! Excellent product, this is the most by far the best purchased I've ever had for my scrapbooking and cardmaking projects.
My dear husband bought me the Cricut for Christmas. I absolutely love using it!!! Even my children can use it! The two year old thinks it is hers! I have cut everything: frogs, fish, zebras, alligators, signs, words, people, grass....the list goes on and on! I am making treats for Scout volunteers; working on layouts; making spelling words for the kiddos. I use the Cricut for everything!!!
I really believe it is a MUST HAVE PRODUCT!!!

I absolutely love my Cricut! My layouts used to be so boring, and now it is so easy to create fun titles and embellishments at the push of a button! I also love that I can use it for all kinds of other projects!
My son's 1st birthday is going to be a jungle theme so I am using the Animal Kingdom cartridge for his birthday banner and all sorts of decorations!
I am also looking forward to using it for fabric and vinyl in the future!
I got the "original" cricut when they first came out and thought I'd never need another diecut machine. WRONG! After using my friend's expression, I simply had to have one of my own, and it is absolutely wonderful! I especially like that it cuts backgrounds large enough for me to use on my layouts. And the designs that you can make with the cartridges are limitless. I can't imagine ever needing another machine! ...except a Gypsy!

This is a very great machine in that just about anyone can use it's basic features, right off the bat! I have a friend who just hates computers, electronics are a nightmare for her and she did actually enjoy using this. I enjoy that each one has a feature, and very easy to do layered matting now where I used to have to bust out the ....ugh....templates for cutting with that...ugh.....knife - well that be no more!

I'm so sorry I didn't buy this thing earlier, to think of all the money I would have saved on number and alphabets! This is the best machine EVER. It's not only good for letters and numbers but now you can also print those big scalloped circles and funky shapes using the right cartriges. I also bought thin chipboard sheets to make my own chipboard albums. The possibilities are endless!

OMG! This machine rocks. I have used the original cricut that first came out and thought that was great. I got the expression for Christmas and have been using it since December 26th and everyday after. I am addicted to it. I am amazed at how many more functions and time saving tricks you can do with it. What a great item for all scrappers to have

What an amazing tool-I am just in love with it! It is exactly what I have been looking for. I can't say enough about this amazing product that can do so many different things. I love that I am constantly learning new things that it can do-it's like getting a new tool every time I use it. Anyone who purchases this product will not be sorry.
I love my cricut expression I also have the first cricut but this one has a very big difference I can cut as many die cuts as I need withou any problem, and with me joining a lot of swaps this machine comes in handy for making a large quanity of things I would say if you can get this machine and you will never have another scrapping worrie
With the Cricut Expressions and a few of the cartidages thats excatly what you have, an unlimited imagination. It can cut from 1" to 23.5". You can use the 22x12 mats or 12x24. Want to do the very popular vinyl wall quotes? No problem on the Cricut. Use it to make cards, layouts and its so easy your kids can use it for school projects.
Love the size that it takes a full 12x12 sheet. Love the shadow feature of most cartridges. I've been having so much fun with all the features like "Center Point" where I can cut circles of various sizes all with the same center point! Then there's the "fit to size" where I can cut something to the exact length I want it. Great machine!

If I could give this 10 stars I would. It has made card making and LO's so easy. There are plenty of cartridges to meet everyone's needs. I bought this last year on Black Friday and it was worth getting up at 4:30 to get it. I would recommend this product to everyone who creates scrapbooks, cards, and other paper crafts.

I love this tool. Once you get some cartridges make sure that you look through the book that comes with it. There are so many more things you can make besides what you see on the overlay. Many, many possibilities. I took a cricut class at a local store to learn about using mine. Opened a whole new world of fun for me!

It really feels like there is nothing you can't do with this machine. I love all of the new features and the versatility. I never wanted the expression because I had the original cricut, but when my hubby surprised me for christmas with one, and I used it for the first time, I was so happy he didn't listen to me.
I love my Cricut! I'm amazed at all it can do for me. So far I have about 10 cartridges and have used each one. This machine does save me money. I can make my own embellies, flourishes, and letters for titles! Plus I can make them to match the layout..and I don't run out of the popular letters! It's the best!

If you are considering a die cutting machine, this is the one to get. The creative possibilities with the cricut are unbeleivable. The cartridges have great features. I absolutely love the Hello Kitty cartridges I own. I love being able to cut out layers instead of cutting the entire image out.

This is one of the best investments I have ever made for my scrapbooking. It makes scrapping, cardmaking and much more so much easier. I use it for everything from titles to gift tags for Christmas! I would recommend the Cricut Expression to anyone that scrapbooks or makes cards.
I just recently bought the cricut and i absolutly love it! There is so much you can cut out, it cuts the time it usually takes to make anything in half. I think its definetly built to last and seems very durable. (as long as you take some amount of care of it.)
I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING I CAN DO WITH IT, CUT BORDERS, LETTERS, FLOWERS, YOU NAME IT!! ITS SUPER EASY TO USE AND IS SUPER FUN. ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY, AND I CAN IMAGINE WHEN MY DAUGHTER START SCHOOL IT IS GOING TO HELP WITH MANY PROJECTS!!

The Cricut Expression is so versatile. It's a must have for any scrapbooker or card maker. We've also used it for the kids' school projects, garage sale signs, and various other projects around the house. It was a great investment!
I love this machine! It cuts perfectly every time you use it. I love the fact that it can also be used to make decals and big wall designs that you can you in and out side your home. This machine is very versatile. I love my big Bug!

If you are thinking about any kind of die cutting machine THIS is the way to go! So versatile as it cuts up to 24". The start up cost may seem high-but in the long run it isn't compared to having to buy individual dies.
I LOVE this machine!! I don't know how I scrapped or papercrafted or anything without it!
I use it for Church and School projects, I use for for home decor, scrappin and cardmaking!
I LOVE this thing!!
I got this as an early Christmas present, and I couldn't be happier with it! After sitting here for a few minutes, I was hard-pressed to come up with anything bad about this machine!! No cons.

Used in this layout: Santa's Helper
I LOVE this machine! It is one of my most important scrapbooking tools. I use it on almost every page. Although there are a couple of things I don't like about it. First the mat that you have to use with the machine to hold the paper in place is to sticky at first and your paper rip. After a couple of uses the stickiness does get better. The other thing I don't care for is every once in a while the blade won't cut as well in some spots. So then you have to use scissors to cut it yourself and it never looks quite right. These two things are minor compared to the usefulness of the product. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I think that it does make really clean cuts, and has a wide rannge of sizes, but I found out the hard way that you need certain tools that arent incuded in with the actual machine. You need a spatula and for small cuts a certain type of adhesive. Its a great machine but you have to be ready to pay extra costs, such as for the tool kits or adhesives. So just keep in mind that the cricut is a great investment, BUT you do have to spend about an extra $40 about for the tools, adhesives etc.
Used in this layout: Fly with me!
You won't regret buying your Cricut. It is so versatile. Besides the cartridges you can use the Design Studio to plan page cuts and other software is available where you do not need a cartridge but just .svg files. (SureCutsAlot, and MaketheCut). Would give it 5 stars if I could load all my purchased cartridges into a single cartridge. (Can sort of do this with Gypsy but should be able to do from my own computer.
This was the first "scrapbooking machine" I have ever bought. At first I was skeptical because I had never used one and they are so costly. But I love it! I can't tell you how much money I have saved in just lettering alone. Now I am not limited to only the colors you find in stores. i can have letters any size and color I want. There are many reasons to buy this machine but this is just one. I love it.

I can't believe how quickly the Cricut Expression became the central tool in my scrapping room. I love, love, love it. I'm not very talented in the creative area, but the Cricut allows me to make beautiful, creative and easy scrapbook layouts. It also allows me to make words and pictures for my walls. And... I make gift books for friends and family members, I make all of my greeting cards (talk about saving money), and I understand that I can even etch onto glass. I'm going to help my darling Mom make a gift for someone's 25th Anniversary. She doesn't have a lot of money - and the Cricut Expression is helping me to help her... how can I not LOVE IT? This will become your favorite tool too!!!!
