I have several ways I keep my spellbinder dies. I have a peg board. I have a magnetic bulletin board. I also have two full Art bins and plan on ordering a third. For full use of the sheets, open the bin and let the sheets spread out at the opening (don't pick through the stack as this will cause all kinds of problems), file through the sheets, pull out the die set or sets you want to use. It is convient to keep the sheet out and replace the dies as they are used so they don't get lost. Also dies can be kept in sets. If the sheets were magnetic on both sides, the sheets would stick together. There are just a few tricks to use the art bin efficiently.
The person who invented the magnetic sheets for the art bin is a genius. My drawers were a mess of spellbinders dies that I kept in the original packaging but could never find the one I wanted and when I did, it was a hassle to get it out of the packaging and then get it back in. Now my dies are neatly on my desk in the art bin, not getting bent or damaged, within arms reach and I can easily reach the size and shape I want. I feel like a new woman.
These sheets and the Art Bin case are the perfect way to store and carry my dies at home and when traveling. I keep my dies sorted by whether they're shapes such as hearts, stars, ovals, etc. or designs such as swirls, beach themes, and flower borders. I like being able to add the magnetic die sheets as my die collection grows.
This product is too small to be cost effective...cannot get very many die on a page...would have been better if magnetic on both sides...then the edges curl a little which really cuts down on how much it will hold...Since I opened it and discovered how ineffectual it was, now it cannot be returned!
I am so excited about thes magnetic die sheets. I kept putting it off due to seeing the size and thinking one would not beable to get many on a sheet. As it turns out, they are perfect. I LOVE them. I arranged mine and labeled the tops with what was on the sheet. For example one is Christmas, Flowers, Leaves, Shapes, Hearts, Labels, Tags, etc. It makes it so easy to get to and I have found I can get quite a few on each one. I wanted to tell Belffinder since she is not happy with them, to let me know at lcrawford2455atyahoo.com and I will be more than happy to buy hers from her.
I really like this system for organizing my Spellbinders Nestabilities dies. I can usually fit 2 sets per magnetic page (sometimes 3 if small) and they fit in the case perfectly. By being magnetic on only one side, it prevents dies from the page behind it getting pulled off. I bought extra pages and love that all my dies fit in it and I have room for my expanding collection. It's the best system I've seen for organizing and traveling to crops with your dies.
Trying to keep up with all my thin dies has been a real pain - until now. I've seen lots of options, but this is actually workable, and affordable. The magnetic sheet is the same as the ones you can buy at any craft/hobby store, but they are cut to fit perfectly in the case. I really like being able to see my dies easily, with out having to open up envelopes or individual cases. I have 9 sheets and there is still lots of space after my 125 dies.
I have two of the Artbin boxes for storing thin metal dies. One is mainly for my Spellbinders and the other is for other brands. These magnetic sheets work wonderfully for storing organizing and storing my dies. And I don't have to worry about them getting lost. Everything is contained on the magnetic sheets inside the box.
I think Art Bin is one of the best as far as storage goes. I have at least 6 of these container w/ the sheets just so I can store like products together. Although I haven't completely filled a container yet, I can tell you each sheet holds a lot of dies. It is a great system
What a perfect, neat & compact way to store metal dies. I have tried different ways to store them in the past, but this one beats them all. Reasonably priced & easily portable with the handle on the storage box. A nice way to be able to carry them to scrapping days & events.
These magnetic die sheets are great. I have them in the magnetic storage case and I find having my dies all in one place makes it easy for me to decide what I want to design for a card. I also love the easy storage of the case and dies together. A crafter's dream!
This is a great way to hold, keep and see all your metal dies, SO MUCH better than in their individual packets or in divided plastic folders. Way to go Art Bin! And really a good price for what they accomplish in helping you stay organized.
I have been struggling for some time now to keep my smaller metal dies in order, no more i ordered this as soon as i saw it . I am so happy i did, i now have my mess under control. i will be ordering more soon.
Now have two of these boxes (one didn't hold all of them) and they are both almost full. I label each page with the name of the die set(s). I love having all my dies in one place and easy to access!!
I have been using these for a number of years. They make it easy to flip through and select the die that you want and they hold the dies securely so that they don't move around or fall off.
These are great quality - put more in a package, please. They hold the dies so they can be organized and stored without getting separated or damaged. A great invention!
I purchased the case from another vendor, liked it so much I purchased these sheets to add more storage. They were just enough for what I have with one empty leftover. Really cut down on time looking for the desired die.
Just got my artbin and magnetic sheets tonight--and will be ordering more. Love the magnetic aspect, and takes less room than individual cases--the DVD size just didn't work for me. Can't wait to use for my alphas.
