Tim Holtz hit a grand slam with Winter Limited Edition 3 Pack Distress Ink by Ranger. On video, Tim says that these colors fill in spaces that were in the total color chart for the distress ink range and he's absolutely correct! I especially like the holiday red and the icy blue. These are fun, fun, FUN to create seasonal pages, cards and tags! Thanks so much for stilll having them in stock! In my town they were SOLD OUT everywhere!
The Ranger (Tim Holtz) Distress Ink pads are amazing. If you love the vintage, grunge, or earthy look then buy these, but be warned they are addictive! The winter colors this year are beautiful and have used on numerous Christmas projects but the cool part is I can continue using these colors long after winter is over!
I love working with Ranger inks because the quality is always evident. These new colors are rich and vibrant and stand out from the rest. I had some Christmas sepia ATC cards that I used these on (working v-e-r-y cardfully since the images was small and colored just portions of the imates. Outstanding!
These colors are an absolute must-have in your arsenal for any stamping, mixed media, card making type crafts. The Distressed Ink pads by Tim Holtz are a versatile must as it is, but these colors are truly unique and beautiful. I definitely need to stock up before they are unavailable.
I love to play with Distress Inks and the 2011 winter colors were gorgeous. I wasn't sure about the red but that turned out to be my favorite. I made some cards using the blending technique and the color looked fabulous whether it was barely there or laid on heavy.
Like all the Ranger Distress inks, these are fun colors to work with. I especially liked the vivid bluish red (as opposed to the other pink or orange tone red Distress inks.) I used the red for holly berries and a reindeer collar and nose in Christmas cards.
The only down side I see to the Tim Holtz limited edition color inks is that ... they're limited.
I'd love to see him add these to his signature line permanently, including the reinkers, stains, markers...
These colors are AWESOME.
I own all of the Tim Holz Distress Ink Pads and snatched these up as soon as they became available. Iced Spruce is a really unique color that I am sure to use many times over in the future. The Festive Berries is also a really vibrant red.
Get these while you can...this is a limited edition and the colors are beautiful. As always, scrapbook.com processed and shipped my order quickly with no problems. I buy from them repeatedly and would urge all papercrafters to do the same!
These came just in time to complete some holiday projects and were the perfect colors.
I may have to order a second set to have on hand. They will be used for many other projects other than just Christmas/winter.
I am a big time user of Tim Holtz's distress inks and when these came out I had to try them. I don't know how I managed to make my Christmas cards without them in previous years! These colors are fantastic.
OK...I must admit...I LOVE this product! But, I don't like the idea of "anything" being limited edition! :( Therefore no re-inkers for this item :( this just upsets me....just being honest.
Just want to Thank You for your quick and speedy delivery. I look forward ordering from you because I know I will get what you show(product)
Love the colors in this Trio. They are the perfect blend for the Holidays. Also the perfect fill in colors in-between the reds, and greens, and the grey-greens in the darker colors.
Wonderful inks..the colors are so sharp and I love using these on my scrapbooking pages. These are quality products and it's a real treat to get the limited edition colors.
Love the colors. Could not purchase the refills because I didn't realize there were new colors. Now trying to find the refills. Always purchase refill with pads!
These are beautiful colors! I've used all three for Christmas but they're really year-round colors. As always, price was right and shipping was fast. Thanks!!
The colors for Winter are wonderful and loved the distressed look it gave my Christmas cards this year. Tim Holtz has done it again with his products.
