I was unsure about this until I tried making one. Wow the finished product was an instant hit. These little containers are great to travel to classes or crops (and store) and I would definitely suggest that you watch the video and make it yourself. It looks hard but it really isn't.
I watched a video promptingme to buy these. I had never tried them, so I bought the multi paxk to decide which one I wanted to buy in the larger size.
I love them all! You can mix in glitter, embossibg powder & ink! It really doesn't take a lot, so even these smaller jars will last me awhile. They dry beautfully. I used the clear gloss with glitter mixed in for a mermaid ATC card & it was beautiful! They dry fast & are an easy way to add dimension & mixed media to your projects.
This gave me a chance to see what it was like to use Texture Paste. I don't do fancy designs, currently just experimenting in an art journal and this gave me a chance to see what it looks and feels like. I really like using all of these because they go on smooth. Can't wait to get the bigger containers.
I am very thankful for the great price I got on these products. I also appreciate the videos offered from Scrapbook.com on how to use the products they sell. Their video classes are awesome.
Since I was looking for small containers of texture paste, these were perfect. They have different finishes, which is fun as well.
... and are very great by themselves. I haven't really been working in this kind of media but I was dying to try it and these 3 did the trick, gave me 3 different finishes and I had fun working with them. I am not going to take my not realizing the size of each jar out on this product, they are great, especially if you want to try the various finishes. Having said that, me, personally, had I realized they were half the size (and that's all on me!) I would have bought the 2oz jars 1 at a time. But I will also say I am not looking forward to trying to take the last of the pastes out of these jars with a full-size palette knife! It will take a small spoon.
It works as it is supposed to. I just had a hard time mixing color into it as I saw in videos. I found it easier to let it dry and then put whatever color or embossing powder I wanted over it.
Used in this project: Happy 100th
