I love this ink pad. It leaves a perfect impression on almost any surface. Actually, I have yet to find a surface that it does not work on. I love the smell as it is almost like candy. It does dry fairly quickly on the surface that you are stamping on. The one tip that I have found with this ink pad is related to stamping on transparencies. When you use this ink, generously ink your stamp and make sure to press straight down onto the transparency. Do this with a medium amount of pressure, or the stamp will wiggle and ruin your image. Have fun working with this ink, I know I sure do.

I have to say this is my top 10 favourite ink. The Staz-On black pad is the first thing I pack for crops! You can apply it to almost all surfaces (including acetate, transparencies and shrinky dink material). This solvent ink is crisp, opaque and thick. The raised ink pad allows you to ink stamps and edges of paper extremely easily. This ink dries quickly and you will never have it smear on slick or shiny surfaces. This is my number one black ink choice!

I love this ink so much! I use it for almost every lo I do! It is the best because it staz on (lol) everything! Also I love it because it dries so quickly....for me that is great because I have ruined many lo's because im in such a hurry to move on to the next part! Try it! You will love it too!

I own every color of the StazOn ink pads because they are the only ink that will stay on just about anything. I always (well, almost always) stamp away from my drawing table with this ink because it is so permanent and I tend to get ink everywhere when I stamp. Just love that I have more options with StazOn. If you only get one color get black and brown (okay, I couldn't decide which to recommend). I got the refill too; I don't ever want to run dry.

I really like the StazOn black ink, even though I'm a huge fan of browns. It sticks to everything so it lets me distress metal and give it an antique like look and I don't have to worry about it rubbing right off. The black color is a true black too... it doesn't give off a blueish hue like some other inkpads which is a HUGE plus... I always get bummed to get a new black ink pad only to find out it stamps with a blueish tone. No worries with that here!!!

I actually bought this product not knowing much about it. I just needed a black ink pad. It turns out that I lucked into something I didn't know I needed. StazOn allows you to stamp clear images like many other products. However, it does not run or smudge like others do. I can chalk, paint, or ink after stamping my image. My lines stay sharp.
I have not yet tried stamping on materials other than paper, but I look forward to doing so.

I save this ink for my toughest projects. The Altered CD would not have any other ink. This is the only ink that stayed clean and crisp. All others just smeared off. It dried almost immediately, so I didn't have a long wait time and could continue playing without the "Dry Time". If you have anything that needs stamping that is glossy or smooth this is the ink to use. You can bet I'll be trying it on other altered projects as well.

This is a great permanent and quick drying ink. It works well on all the projects I have tested it on, including my acrylic albums (just give it a little longer to dry). It evenly applies on stamps and works well for edging products also. You get a lot of wear out of the product for the price. I don't stamp much for cards and such so I have only used the black and brown, but I am sure all the colors are just as good.

I just recently became acquainted with water color paint, and I stamped my card with black stazon, hoping it wouldn't smear when I started using my paint brush to blend and guess what, I am so super duper happy it did not smear at all. I use it all the time, it doesn't give you that fade look when you stamp like other ink pads do. I highly recommend it. A must have for all scrappers.

This is the best black ink pad I have used. It will work on almost any surface and dries quickly. I used it to stamp on the pages of an acrylic album I recently completed and it does not rub off. This ink also works great for embossing powder. I highly recommend this ink for all scrappers who are looking for a true black ink that stays where you stamp it and dries quickly.

I bought this product for the first time based on others' reviews and I absolutely love it. Perfect for stamping because it dries quick and smudge-free. The only thing is that it's hard to clean off nails. Will certainly buy other colors.
Its great, it is just great, you can use it on everything you want and it will stay!!!
only bad thing is even with the proper stamp cleaner it will mark a bit but i dont really care, lol
I love StazOn ink pads. They are perfect for every surface. When I'm not sure which ink to use, I reach for my StazOn. I've used it on slick surfaces and even ribbon. Because it stamps on everything, it tends to stain stamps, though. That doesn't bother me, but I know that it does bother some people, which is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

Seriously. This is my favorite black ink I own - it works with all my stamps, and even makes some of them look crisp where they were mushy, clean where they were sort of munged. It *does* require special cleaner to take it off which I have only used on my rubber stamps, not my acrylic ones, but it's worth it in my opinion. And I love the smell... I can't put my finger on it, but something about Black Staz-on Scent just makes me hungry, though I certainly wouldn't encourage ink sniffing. ;) I actually like my black better than my Olive Green, but the Green isn't bad either. I also like that it dries incredibly fast on regular papers, meaning I have less of a likelihood of smearing it all over the place. Bad for embossing, good for clumsy!
I bought this about probably a year ago and have used it so much and it is still as good as the day I bought it! It comes out perfect black - not blue or purple nor washed out. It is perfect strong colour. I also have Staz On brown and opaque white and they are the same. It goes onto anything including photos and acertate. It also goes onto your stamps so make sure you immediately wipe off!! I use a baby wipe but that wipes the oil off apparently or leaves a film or something! But it works for me! It is perhaps expensive but it is so worth every penny (or cent!).
I absolutely LOVE the StazOn inks, the black especially. When it says that it will staz on... it seriously means it. This ink will stay on anything it touches, even your hands and clothes. :-) I use it to stamp and ink edges the most. If you stamp with this ink, it will stain. I use a baby wipe to get most of it off though. This is not a distressing ink and does not blend well. Tim Holtz inks are better if you want to blend. I cannot say enough good things about this ink though. I use it on most of my layouts and cards!

Sadly it won't work with any of my clear acrylic/polymer stamps. On rubber stamps it's fine.
I've tried sanding the surface of my acrylic/polymer stamps to get a key, but it just won't work. Love the ink though and useful for other techniques.
I thought Archival Ink is the best. I was wrong . This ink is the best and blackest I know, but it has an unpleasant smell (if you are sensitive to smells Do not buy it because the smell is very strong). This ink is waterproof. I love it !!
Love the bright intense color of StazOn Jet Black. Color stays bright even after drying. Great for use in multi media when you need to use mod podge etc after the ink because it is not waterbased and does not smear or smudge! Love it!
I use this black all the time. It's great for stamping, inking edges, distressing and any number of things. It's pretty much one of my "go to" inks. I never have a problem with it smearing and it always leaves a clean, clear image.

I have searched long and hard and FINALLY found the perfect ink for clear and rubber stamps alike. I LOVE, LOVE,LOVE this ink. It gives such crisp clear images and dries super fast.. Great for water color pencils.

If I'm inking, this is probably the ink I'm using. I love that it "sticks" to everything and has a dark rich color. Stazon is definitely my first choice in ink--I always know it'll work and look great!

StazOn is my favorite ink. Not just for non-porous surfaces, but for all my inking needs. It is my go-to black ink. I love the crispness it gives in stamping & distressing. I wouldn't replace it, ever.

This ink is great for everything!! You can stamp on any non-porous surface and get a clean image with no smearing. Dries quickly, too! Should be a staple in every crafter's tool box.

This ink is Great for almost every surface!! Just remember to have cleaning supplies close by as these stamps will stain your stamps if the stamps are not cleaned quickly.
This is my favourite black ink ... rubs on perfectly and lasts FOREVER! I ink almost all of my pages and have yet to replace it ... it's awesome, would totally recommend!

Nice solid product, pronounced black and not gray ink, stays on for permanent stamping and is nicely priced. Love Scrapbooks.com for their products and pricing selections
This is the best black ink out there. I use this one more then any other I have. It has stuck on everything I have tried, no smudging, no issues at all

I always get a perfectly stamped image with this stuff. It is just the right consistency. LOVE IT!!!

I love the 'really black' effect these ink pads produce. Be warned though, once you stamp, be committed since they are permanent. I would have given it 5 stars but didn't because all my acrylic stamps are stained thanks to StazOn. On the good side, if you accidentaly stain a hard surface, Un-Du will help.
I have heard so many good things about this ink when used with clear stamps, but I have had problems with my first attempts. So... yes, it is crisp and clean when you get it right, but when you don't, it beads up and is not any crisper than any other ink. I'm sure it's just operator error, though... (and yes, I have gotten the slippery stuff off the clear stamps before I used it and it still wasn't how I expected).
