I am a great big Big Bite II fan! But I go to a lot of crops, and I felt it was very awkward to pack my wonderful new Big Bite II. Solution: The Case! The Crop-A-Dile Big Bite fits in perfectly (you do have to slide the little "feet" off first, though--no big deal.) As a BONUS , the case comes with 4 packages of huge grommets!! Now, instead of finding a strange little space in my rolling tote for an oddly-shaped object, I have a LIGHTWEIGHT, rectangular case for my Big Bite. It comes in a wide assortment of colors--I got the Orange to match my Big Bite!!
You will LOVE this for your Big Bite! The rubber feet slide off and there is a little compartment for them to go into. There are also little storage places for some gromlets! This is very sturdy easy to carry and makes bringing your Big Bite with you to crop very convenient!
Ok, I read the other reviews where people said they had to get a screwdriver to remove the feet? Uh, I just slide the feet off my big Bite and slide them back on, takes like two seconds.... so to me, that is no problem! I love this case! I like that it has pockets for the Gromlets, I like that the square shape fits into my bigger carrying case for traveling to crops, I think it is great!

I bought the case for traveling to and from a couple crafting events. If it weren't for traveling to and fro I wouldn't really recommend that you need one. But the case does protect the Crop-A-Dile from becoming damaged or tangled with your other items. The case seems to be made well.
I can't wait to buy both of the crop-a-dile and its case. I have one of the crop-a-dile but it was alway hard to go in farther on the 12x12 paper. This new crop-a-dile is going to make scrapbooking , craft, etc. alot easier. I can't wait
Every Crop-O-Dile needs a condo, and this one makes it so easy to carry the Big Bite around. I take it to school to use on art projects; this makes it so easy to keep everything together.
I like to keep things organized and this is a great case for keeping your gromlets and eyelets right with your Crop-A-Dile II Big Bite. Easy to store and everything in one place.
What can I say? It's perfectly easy to use, it has a longer reach than the old cropodile... Now it needs a cage to go night night in...
I was raelly excited to order this to protect my Crop-A-Dile II Big Bite. When I ordered it from SB.com, I was very pleased how fast it arrived. But I have to say that I was not real happy about the fact that I had to take the feet off of it to get it to fit in the case. Not that this is a major problem, but it is a pain to have to put it together every time you want to use it. I would still recomend this product, but I would like to see a design change made to fix this situation. I love the Big Bite. It's a great little tool to have and makes it easier to reach places you can't with the regular one.
I think they may have redesigned a few of the components on the big bite and the case. The big bite I purchased required me to unscrew the feet ever time I want to put the tool away and yes there was no place to put the screws or feet safely without feeling like you were going to lose them. However I think there was some complaints and they redesigner the feet to just slide off and may they added an compartment in the case for them. It just happen to be one of those things that was not well thought out before they sent it to market.
The case is too small. You have to take the Crop-a-dile II apart each time you want to put it in the case. It doesn't have a designated place to put the pieces that come off, so they are laying loose in the case and will easily be lost. I have the case, but will never use it for the Crop-a-dile II, becuase I am afraid the tiny screws will get lost. So I feel it is a waste of money.
I have both the Big Bite and the case already and I wish I didn't get the case BECAUSE you have to unscrew the feet of the Big Bite to fit it in the case. And not just the turn of a knob, no, you have to have a regular (not small) size Phillips screwdriver and unscrew 4 screws to take the feet off. I will just be leaving the feet on and throwing it in my crop bag minus the case because all that just for carrying it in a case seems ridiculous to me. I don't think it would have been hard at all to make the case so that you could put the whole thing in without taking off the feet. Someone wasn't thinking - the Big Bite is AWESOME though!
NO, NO, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT THINKING THE CROP-A-DILE 2 WILL FIT IN IT. IT WON'T FIT!!!!! YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE LEGS OFF AND WORRY ABOUT LOSING THE LEGS AND SCREWS AND ALSO HAVE TO CARRY AROUND A SCREWDRIVER. SURE DEFEATS THE PURPOSE. I BOUGHT THIS FROM HSN AND WAS SOO DISAPOINTED. ALL IT IS GOOD FOR IS TO PUT YOUR GROMETS IN. I KEPT MINE BECAUSE IT COST 1/2 THE PRICE OF THE CASE TO SEND IT BACK. EVEN AFTER TAKING THE LEGS OFF YOU STILL HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET THE THING IN THERE.
NEEDS TO BE REDESIGNED AND FOR THE ONES OF US THAT BOUGHT IT WE SHOULD GET A NEW ONE FREE!!
I already received my Crop-A-Dile II and the case. I'm sorry to say that I do not recommend purchasing the case. What isn't disclosed is that you MUST remove the feet (the little stands) from the Crop-A-Dile EACH time you want to store it in it's case. Then when you want to use it, if you wish it to be able to stand securely on it's own, you MUST screw the feet back on before use. The directions on the Crop-A-Dile instruct you to be careful not to lose the little screws! Needless to say, I kept the Crop but returned the case.
NOT worth it. It doesn't hold the Big Bite unless you remove the feet off of it so that it fits snuggly inside. They need to redesign it so that there are either slots on the side of the box where the feet are or reshape it so that the base and feet are both covered, without having to remove the feet in either case. Until they do that, don't bother wasting your money! Regina P. ([email protected])
