The 13" x 10" Heidi Swapp Lightbox features three lighted rows to use to display your messages of love, inspiration, or information. Use it to brighten up parties, weddings, home décor, dorm rooms, offices, classrooms, and so much more with your custom message!
The design ideas are endless for creating your perfectly styled message, with the dozens of interchangeable accessories available for the Heidi Swapp Light Box, such as backgrounds, alphabets, and icon inserts. Layer light up letters, icons and words over beautiful backgrounds to create your vision. And when you are ready for something new, it only takes moments to change out your inserts to create a new design.
For a completely unique look, you can use the available blank insert set to create your own custom letters and graphics with vinyl, stickers, and markers. Have too much text for the Light Box’s three lines? Use the Heidi Swapp Lightbox Track (sold separately) to divide one of the box’s lines into two mini tracks!
Displaying your Heidi Swapp Lightbox is easy! Simply set it out freestanding on a tabletop, or easily hang it up on the wall with the recessed holes on the back of the box.
Use the included USB cord (which has its own handy storage compartment on the rear of the Light Box) or purchase three “C” batteries to operate the light box. For use with the light box inserts sold separately.

Instructions: Using the Heidi Swapp Light Box is simple! Slide the light up letters or inserts you wish to display into the light box’s three channels. (If you are using a background behind text or smaller elements, insert the background into the channel before layering the smaller light up letters or inserts on top of it.)
To use your light box, plug the included USB cable into the outlet on the right side of the light box and plug it into a power source such as a computer or charger. Or, to use your light box on battery power, unscrew the battery compartment on the rear of the light box and insert 3 “C” batteries and then re-fasten the compartment. Turn your light box on and off using the switch on the right side.

I love my Heidi Swapp Lightbox! It is so versatile and perfect for any occasion--my kiddos are always excited to see what the newest message is, and they even request to use it themselves to create special notes just from them. As the room mom for two classes, my HS Lightbox is the perfect addition for class parties--it can be used as a welcome message or as a prop for a class photo booth. There are so many creative ways to use it all year long. I find the letters and icons to be so well priced here at Scrapbook.com that it is so easy to customize and have variety.

I love this product. I have changed it out to wish happy birthday; say I Love You; show appreciation and encouragement; and now to countdown to summer vacation. I have yet to not be able to put what I want to say, in the space. The number of each alphabet in the packs is perfect. Can't wait to see what the new products for the Lightbox will be.
Bought and used the light box this past weekend for my daughters wedding. It welcomed guests to our outdoor wedding/reception near the guest book. I used black letters on the clear background, and it looked great. Lit up very nicely and added to the festivities. I will definitely find other occasions and places to use the light box. Hopefully the photographer snapped a picture.
All of the Lightbox products come with a warning that is not listed on the site or in the description that they contain toxic chemicals and that you should not "mouth or chew" them. This is such a disappointment as the idea for this product is really great. But I don't like to knowingly purchase or frequently use toxic products.
If you use this, do not allow children to use it, and definitely wash your hands after anytime you touch it

I apologize for the confusion. The freestanding letters I referred to are the Heidi Swapp Marquee Love letters. I think they are cardboard on the outside. What is the Lightbox made of?

What is the lightbox made out of? I understand that her freestanding individual letters are made of cardboard and I want to be sure that this is made of better materials. Thank you in advance.

The letter are not cardboard. They are basically printed on transparency. And yes the light box is made pretty durable.

PLEASE, I ordered the light box and 3 letters for our name. It's a thing we have collected (H💙R). We are fanatics about burning LED's. They do come in a yellowish cast light. I was certain I read it ran with LED's. It's just irresponsible for any company to make a light of any type that will not or cannot be changed to an LED. THIS IS 2016 & I can guarantee I'm older than Ms. Swapp. Why would anyone not want to save what little world electrical energy we have remaining. Especially since if I remember correctly her home state runs a preponderance of dirty coal energy. I'd never run anything BUT an LED. I hope anyone with children or grandchildren would appreciate my commitment to the cause.
I'm sorry you are disappointed with your lightbox. I would refer you to the manufacturer regarding the lightbulbs involved and the inability to change them. That is not within our control.
