Yes, I actually added them to my 12x12 Project Life album right along with my regular pocket pages, they are great. The plastic is super thick, great quality.

Does this product have space to indicate date, place etc.?

Yes it does, on the bottom it says who why and where and on the upper right side it has a space for date
