As someone who is just venturing into mixed media, these Vicki Boutin pre-made foundation collections are a must have! Not only do they provide a starting point and confidence builder for this style of scrapbooking, but they give me ideas of what I can try on my blank VB foundation papers as well. I've heard a few people complain because there are 3 of each design, but this works perfectly for me. I give one set to my BFF so we can work on them together and have an extra set in case I mess up or want to make a double-page spread. I've also seen where other crafters use the extra sets to make coordinating die cuts, and it's amazing how different the same pages can look when you vary the picture sizes, embellishments, and direction you turn the foundation page. Get them while you can. They sell out quickly.
LOVE!! This paper pad is so gorgeous! I love all the fun colors, textures and bits of foil throughout. Sometimes you're just not feeling up to getting all the things out to make a mess. This is the perfect solution when you want the messy look - without actually making a mess with mixed media! The paper is thick and textured. I've found that it holds up well to additional paint splatters, too!
These are even better in person. Just gorgeous! Love the gold foiling and you get THREE of each pattern! I love Vicki's products but this paper stack goes above and beyond. The colors are vibrant, the patterns are beautiful and the paper is a good, thick quality. Love it!
