I've only swatched these new pastes so far, but the images are crisp and clean through the stencil I chose. All of these colors are "fruit sours"--Lemon Sour , Watermelon Sour, etc. They are not repeats of any of the earlier texture paste shades, so they enlarged my palette. (My fave is Peach Sour). They're a little bit Day-Glow: quite Bright. Fun!
I love the versatility of the paste. The neon colors are fantastic.
I tried to find out before I bought these if they were bright or neon because there is a huge difference. I couldn’t get any help with it. I thought if it was mixed with white gesso maybe you could tone it down but no one knew. So I ordered them. The minute I opened the package I knew they had to go back. I can’t afford to try something that literally looks like a neon color and try it then not be able to return it. So the blue isn’t bad and even the yellow was alright but the pink was so electric I couldn’t take a chance. I love bright colors and was so excited about these, but I honestly did not try them out. They seem to be too neon I should say. Hope this helps.
