I'm really liking the "Sticky Thumb" line right now! I tested mine out right away & it goes on smooth & the adhesive holds really good! I hope they come out with refills, that are the super duty adhesive, for other crafting that may need something stronger, than just for cardmaking- BUT this is perfect for cards & scrapbooking!!!
I was very disappointed with this product as I ended up having to throw it away because it didn’t want to work. I had to keep taking it a part to move it With my finger so it would move around the wheel. This shouldn’t have happened, unlike most adhesive refills. Horrible product, will not be purchasing this again as I lost money on this adhesive refill. I have never had any issues with other refill adhesives before until I purchased this one.
I have discovered that some of the runner adhesives are stickier than others! They tend to stick to the unused portions of the tape and make a mess and I have to rewind. Some parts of the tape are not used. Maybe the heat has something to do with it..we will see now that the temperature is starting to cool down if that is the issue.
I like several things about this product. It is very sticky, as an adhesive should be. It's refillable. Compact and easy to hold.
However, there have been a instances where I try to put a line of tape onto my paper and it doesn't give me a full line. Fortunately I can apply more easily or just leave it as this stuff is very sticky!

Exactly what is the adhesive like on these tape runners? I like the ones that have tabls (I realize these are not that style), but I recently bought a six-pack of permanent adhesive rollers from Crafter's Toolbox. The adhesive is like the sticky on old fashioned Scotch tape. It is hard to apply and balls up on the working surface. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

It seems to work pretty good for me. It does not ball up.
