RE: American Crafts - Creative Devotion Collection - Gel Crayons
I got my Gel Crayons about a week ago and have not used them a lot yet. But, have used them enough to tell you that they are so beautiful and easy to use. They are very light pastels which I love.
The colors are just as shown on the outside, pinks are sweet pinks, etc. They blend perfectly and go on the paper with ease.
Tested them to see if they would bleed through my Journal Bible page and they did not which is a plus.
I love them, I am convinced you will, too!
I mean that in the best way. Coloring with these gel crayons is like none I've ever used before. They are way softer than gelatos, and similar to Distress Crayons (also water-soluble) but they are less "smeary" and more soft/creamy than the Distress Crayons. I can rub them into the pages and I do not think they'll transfer. Plus they are such soft colors they really blend in well and I love using them. If you use them with water, they really wash out if you want to do that. The Teal "self control" is really bright as is the Pink "love". The rest are very light/pastel. Great for in my Psalms coloring book with thick pages. (I haven't tried them on thin Bible pages yet, but I expect them to be fabulous there as well!)
I love them - I wish there were more colors. I feel like a big kid and want to color everything with them. Ha! Wish they'd make a version that was not water-soluble, but I think that may be why they are so soft and creamy and smooth.
